Game Change.. the movie

Ed Harris plays a good John McCain & Julianne Moore plays an even better Sarah Palin. And I give props to the make up artists who made Julianne Moore not look like a pasty ginger kid. Good comedy.

Julianne Moore is cute though!

I wonder how long it'll take until I can see it in South America

I doubt it'll come on DVD in your country, so seeing it might be a long shot, but you can watch it now.

I'd go for a 720p torrent for quality, but I'm not sure if you have HD yet.

The SD scene release is good enough, no need to wait for a hd release. Movie was good.

Oh, the HD release came before the SD one, as usual.

WHat I meant was that I'm not sure HD has come to south america yet.

If you're thinking about the GDP you're number 7. Unless you consider CIA a trusted source :P

But didn't remember that Brasil was that high up on the list. Makes sense seeing how much ransom money that's being wired into the country though.

Woody Harrelson was great. they all were really. solid film

Total GDP is not a good indicator of standard of living. Brazil is around #75 for GDP per capita.

The CIA is a trusted source, albeit outdated. This has been all over the news here and in the UK.

Oh, I agree, but the probability of high-tech goods not making their way into such a gigantic economy is very slim. The one thing I love about shanty towns in Brazil is the sheer amount of satellite dishes you see on rooftops

And mobile phones. I wonder if there's a single cyberpunk author who could've imagined muddy slums with so many shiny devices.

Bring it on, little girl! I'm not saying my apartment is exactly like Frank Castle's, but let's just say I am prepared for several events.

Congrats on your nation moving up on the economic totem pole. Enjoy all the perks that come with it, including new sedentary lifestyles once thought to be only an American problem.

Brazil has a seriously burgeoning economy that's become really attractive to foreign direct investment. I remember reading late last year about a lot of speculation regarding the overvaluation of their currency. Still, I've heard Brazil mentioned often in the same sentences as India and China where growth is involved.

the topic of this thread was dumb as hell, given that we have a 'movie recommendations' thread
