Nexus 2 - how to set filter cutoff for each layer individually?

Can anybody please tell me how to set the filter cutoff for each layer individually?

I did read the manual but it's very confusing about this. It says you can do this but doesn't explain where or how??

IMPORTANT NOTE: i want to make clear that i am not trolling or whatever on this forum so don't make any accusations like that anymore please.. I am simply asking questions hoping somebody can help me with them.. i deleted my previous similar thread so hopefully this time people will be more respectfull.. thanks in advance!

This is how I was able to do it:

Mod tab -> then under matrix
on the left select -mw and on the right lay1cut
Do the same for the rest of the oscillators. (lay2cut, lay3cut)
Now when you drag the value to 0 the filter will turn open, when you drag it down to a negative value the filter will close.

I am not sure why they decided to call it lay1cut instead of a more logic osc1cut, but whatever, this seemed to work for me when I opened a random patch.

btw, is it also possible to set amp and filter enveloppes for each layer individually or just cutoff?

Doesn't look like it, since the amp and filter envelopes seem to be global. However, this can also be done by layering more Nexus instances, thus soloing a different oscillator in each instance.

Now, back to Nexus 2. I have nothing more to add.

will this work for the AIR version ? Customer service won't answer my question. Also, i read an article about mixing that you should highpass filter your elements to clean up my mix but everytime i do it, the bass sounds weak even with side chain.
