Everybody needs a 303. Check the marketplace section in the KVR forums. I spotted a few selling their Phoscyon or ABL2 licenses.

I have only tried the ABL2, it's good enough so I always use that one. If you want something simpler with Prodigy-ish sounds out-of-the-box there's G-Soniques Alien303.

The actual raw sound can be done on anything, but part of the reason the 303 sounds the way it does in a mix is the accent and glide functions.

reaktor has a fantastic ensemble that sounds better than d16 and ABL2. It comes down to the distortion really and this patch has a fantastic distortion, I just can't remember it. But go on youtube on do a search. You should find it.
