Something Dif - Commercial EDM
Hadn't put anything up in a while. Got a lot of started project files not going anywhere. Need to get motivated.
I am adding my own vocals later. I think I am going to pursue this one as my next demo.

That's pretty cool. Mixdown seems good.
sounding good so far. Im interested in hearing them vocals, be sure to post an update for us later man
Kind of indie dance! Some of the parts of the bass sound a little discordant though and uncomfortable.
Add some distortion, and a beefier clap, something with more noise and a longer tail...Also, not a fan of that drum roll at the front but that might just be me. Keep it up, it has potential!
The snare is weird. Definitely needs to be replaced. Some distortion on the track too. Will work on the discordant bass.
Thanks for all the input.
Sorry man, SC is freaking down again - will check later.
Cheers,
Darek
Yeah, hope it isn't down long. I made a lot of changes to the song
I want to get up.
You can safely work on it man, I can hear some cool melodic idea in it but you (just because sound 80's-90's) you will have to use some cleaver transition, FX or ever inject this modulated/morphing bass live in order to add 2012 face to it - nice idea, good start and sweet melody = prescription for goo track
Cheers,
Darek
Thanks, my new version hasn't been put up yet because I am stuck at school for a few more hours and it is a little more modern (and longer)
Damned good mix on this. I like the vibe so far. Can't wait to here dose vocal licks!
**Updated Version
I didn't automate anything and there aren't much effects and stuff but it is longer now.

So melody (I would say good/nice/sweet lol) is there but you still have tons of room in your freq you spare for different melodic elements/sounds - this chords are simple so you have to complement it with a lot of different sounding parts/elements (btw I came from school where "simple is beauty") - this is like you create excitement (within your first 1~2 min of your track) and you wont to keep that way till the end when listeners will say "WoW, it was really cool track".
You still can have some break parts/chillout elements, kind of cool down zone in your production but you still after this "hooking listener to your track" factor - if you know what I mean
Waiting for next step.
Cheers,
Darek
I got you. Some instruments gonna get changed prolly too. Thanks for looking at it several times!
be sure to post an update for us later man![]()
Trust me that is no problem for me :P
