Well it looks like Vegas is trying to compete with WMC by having their own conference and music week. I'm very curious to see how this turns out.

IMO its not competition with WMC its competition with IMS and ADE.

none of those are intended for Joe clubber to attend.

there was some cheesy LV music conference... which really was just a few parties.

when you have Insomniac pushing this with huge talent and behind-the-scenes EDM people (agents, managers, PR people, etc.) all in town at one time i'm sure it will do fine.
