cdrwin on win XP problem...

heya.

im having problems using the newest version of cdrwin on win XP....when i open the program, i get a box with these messages:

Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager
ASPI manager was not found on system.

furthermore, i cant burn cds at all....

anybody else have this problem???? and if you have plz let me know whats up and how to fix so i can burn

XP doesn't like anything by Adaptec....so uninstall anything by adaptec...like EasyCD Creator or DirectCD and delete the adaptec folders. then reboot and try.

adaptec does provide and aspi layer for winxp methinks.. or try the CDRWIN homepage, i am sure that they will have a link to a place where u can download the ASPI stuff

those are the aspi drivers i used to get fireburner 1.06 to work in XP.
