The new Subaru WRX 2003!
This is the new Subaru WRX for 2003.
-new agressive looking headlights
-bigger air intake
-new rear lights
-exhaust modification for more torgue

What do you think? I say it's a beauty
JP
now that looks fuckin shitloads better than the current model
i'd take a Lancer Evo over it any day...
BUT... it sure looks good, but i say its still missing
a more rugged radical styling, something to go more
with what the amazing machine represents...
anyways, how much HP does this baby sport, and
what does it do on a 0-60mph?
Thank god they finally got some scence and removed those hevious big round fog lights... too bad the exterior changes are rather minor, I would expect a much better design for such an energetic car, but hey- even minor changes are better then nothing.
Everything but the looks and the exhaust stayed the same.
So 280hp, 0-60 in 5 sec etc etc
The car will be in the showrooms the end of this year
btw: New Lancer Evolution coming too a bit later, this car was also looking boring...
So both Subaru and Mitsubishi finally understand they should make the cars look agressive again

| Originally posted by Mail Man im glad they changed the front lights. they got a lot of shit off ppl and car TV shows about them. The front looks stunning!!! i dont like the back that much, i dont think it should come up as far as that. But i will prob get used to it. I wonder how long this Subaru V Mitsubishi challange is going to go on for. lol The Evo does look more aggressive but its handling and speed are nothin like the subaru. |

WOW, looks alot like the lancer evo, but still better than the last sunbaru, but not the one before that, but still awsome car, the impreza'z never fail 2 stun me!!!!!

I do hope that scoop doesn't suck in birds and little children
Woah
*nicer* than the last impreza!!!!
But...
Can you see the similarity between This
And
This

The new model is fugly.. The headlights?? WTF? They were what made the WRX distinguishable from all other cars.. Stupid tail-lights too.. and whats with the spoiler? gay!.... The wagon is just completely horrid.. I'm extremely dissapointed with Subaru on this one..
They should have used the STi design from last year.. Although it does look like they "tried" to..
Also.. jp. Where'd you get 280hp from?? A WRX only has 227.. an WRX Sti has 267.. I'm assuming that this one will probably end up around 240-250..
i don't know about the legitamacy of these pictures... they look very very photoshopped especially the lights... and subaru would have announced face lift changes to the 2003 model a while ago... I heard they weren't gonna unveil the new look for the wrx until the tokyo auto show....

Looks light years nicer than the ugly-ass 2002 one, with the round lights. But it still doesn't compare to my true love:

Me and JP had a little battle going on before...the difference's are so minimal. And the Lancer is faster...the model that I got here, Zero Fighter, does 0-60mph in 4 seconds, whereas the fastest Impreza does it in 4.1 or 4.2 I think. Nonetheless, I prefer the Lancer much much more, looks more aggressive, but I do like the Impreza quite a bit as well. |

i agree, that car is an amazing machine...
i think its th best value you can get for a car
4x4 full time
its a sedan
can output 300HP nicely
looks fookin sweet
is worth well under 35k
its like perfect...

yea the STI should be here soon and be under 35k, but it will be watered down a lot or some from the original
