Smiley DJ We need DUMONDE in Toronto !!!!!!!!!!!

Promoters(Purple Heaven - hint, hint), I hope you are reading this !

We need DUMONDE in Canada !!!! After hearing them live at Mysteryland 2 weeks ago, and after downloading their TranceEscape set from 3 months ago, I have to say - DUMONDE IS FUCKING AMAZING !

They play hard trance, yet still manage to be extremely uplifting. Amazing ! They are something fresh in this world of Trance dominated by the likes of Tiesto, Armin and Ferry Corsten.

Bring them here

Posted by jdjd on Sep-05-2002 23:33:

Second that!!!!!!!
You're real lucky to have seen them live, they would blow us away in toronto. Some hard trance is definitely needed here.

Posted by LKD on Sep-06-2002 00:26:

u know what???

i think theyre gonna be here soon....

a little birdie said that he might try and bring em

Posted by Time2Burn on Sep-06-2002 00:43:

100% Agreed!

Dumonde is definetely #1 on my most wanted list.

T.O. is so ready for hard uplifting trance

Posted by Alccode on Sep-06-2002 04:17:

if dumonde came here, there is nothing that exists in the world that could possibly stop me from going to see them without me dying first!!!!

i would pick dumonde #1 over even armin (my second favourite) or anyone else.. they are that high on my list!!

c'mon ppl lets see dumonde in t.o.

dumonde can be good , but dumonde can be CHEEEEEESE mostly

anyways they will be more than welcome to play in Canada , we'll all be happy to see them perform live

*gasp* how dare you !!! you..you..heathenous fiend!!!!! begone!!!

seriously, i have to disagree. i find that dumonde is one of the only artists (with the exception of someone like push - and all of his various aliases) that produces consistently good tracks - to the point that there is not a single dumonde production that i don't like. only push is at an equal level in my books (just off the top of my head).

i guess it all depends on your tastes. if you think it's cheese, then that's ok... *shrug*

again the CHEESE factor pops up once more .. honestly who really cares if someone thinks a DJ(s) is cheeze.. if u think they are then don't go and see them ! simple as that .. but don't ruin other ppls fun! plus cheeze or no cheeze they've never played here so why not see them atleast once ..

and LKD.. i wonder if i heard werd from the same bird as well ;]

Yeah who cares if it is cheese. U know waht? by the time we hear their sets we are usually so loaded that we should not care.

Posted by Alccode on Sep-06-2002 05:36:

^^^ true, but what i'm trying to say is that they're not cheese at all... they're the perfect mix of uplifting and hard trance..

listen to their remix of vincent stormfield - sweet harmony

...wow.... the definition of trance...

Posted by Flec on Sep-06-2002 11:33:

agreed 100% after marco v, dumonde is the next dj/s on my wishlist!

Posted by mecha on Sep-06-2002 13:47:

I personally wanted to see more Europen Trance Djs here in TO in winter time. Since they schedule is free now, (no IBiza, no festivals and stuff), they should come and visit TO more often in winter time for sure....

cheers

cheese eh? Well, send them to VIVA then

Speaking of wanted DJ's...how about you bring in someone like Orkidea into VIVA??

I haven't heard Dumonde as DJ's, but their productions are crap, cept for Never Look Back (thats fuckin amazing tune!!).

Posted by beatjunkie on Sep-06-2002 17:27:

I was introduced to Dumonde by - Never Look Back - and I haven't yet ( How is that for a chesse line?? ) Anyways I don't think they are cheese, I would attend for sure.!

Posted by Durafei on Sep-06-2002 17:51:

I think some people are under the impression that Hard Trance is cheese in general. Well, I've got news for you: it's not !

Posted by JHN416 on Sep-06-2002 18:28:

I saw them at Mysteryland too and there was nothing cheesy about their performance. Behind Mauro Picotto, they had the best set at Mysteryland.

You guys would love it.

Another duo worth mentioning (who I also had the pleasure of seeing at Mysteryland) is Cosmic Gate. If they ever come, make sure you go check them out.

cheese no cheese! I still want to see them!

Dumonde is great but...

this can be true...I saw them at Godskitchen global gathering this summer...and they dropped ZOMBIE NATION! They still had an ace set other wise. Now...after spending 3 months in England, where trance is more readily available in Mainstream media and music than Nickleback is here, you can imagine the reaction...people running out of the arena laughing. They did a decent set that complemented Signum who were before them. There's someone we need to request..Signum, a great duo, from Holland I believe.
Peace,
Andrew

Dumonde rules

I love Dumonde, he's got some great shit out there. Never look back is a great song. I think he should come down here and spin for a while. I'd pay good money to go see him. The Demon has spoke.
