Did we? Post your comments.

Posted by Az on Sep-06-2002 14:19:

nope
I used to have a reason, but I forgot

Posted by Photo_bot_2k1 on Sep-06-2002 14:40:

no shit we did

one of the astronauts did an experiment where they dropped a feather and a ball to prove once and for all that gallileo was right becuase the moon has no atmosphere and therefore no air resistance
and they did drop at the same time

you cant do that on earth dogg u just cant

Posted by Photo_bot_2k1 on Sep-06-2002 14:40:

whoops i meant land at the same time
dur dur dur stupid me

After doing a study on this, it became known to the public that this in fact was a total hoax by NASA. Here are some reasons I recollected:

First off, the moon is about 260 degrees or more in temperture...the film used would not have survived.
Secondly, the pictures that were taken show techincal mistakes that should have been avoided in order to fool us like they wanted.
For the moon's only light source-the sun-there were shots taken that clearly show how out of line the shadows came out.
There was never any mention about the glorious stars that are visible when out of the earths atmosphereor - no visible shots at all

And the most obvious I read of was of a rock sitting on the side of a picture that had a very faint letter "C" written on it....a mistake that is said to be left by the props department.
So there you go kids...it's pure rubbish I tell you! Don't believe the hype.

no, because the flag waved/moved around

Posted by Lira on Sep-06-2002 15:10:

Who cares? Trance takes me there anyway

Posted by Vivid Boy on Sep-06-2002 15:27:

dude i say we have..at lest by now we have....if we can shoot celebrities and millionaires into outer space for a couple of million then we can reach the moon....we should attach a long chain ladder to the moon from the earth this way we can just climb to the moon.....i would suggest not to look down when ur climbing

Posted by cycloptor on Sep-06-2002 15:46:

we did.... if you actually believe that conspiracy bullshit youve gotta be fucked. i know im asking for a billion flames but i dont care. "hey, lets take the biggest technological achievement of the 20th century and not believe in it, better yet, lets tear it to shreads!" fuck that. ass.

Posted by ExOn on Sep-06-2002 15:57:

I don't think we did! We acheived it later though..

Posted by k.k.d. on Sep-06-2002 16:04:

hmm.. kindly keep believing everything that Fox throws at you (like the original moon hoax program)...

Posted by trancaholic on Sep-06-2002 16:09:

I find it puzzling that NASA has failed to address the very valid points raised by the sceptics. But, that said, I'm not convinced it was a hoax.

Posted by migUeloz on Sep-06-2002 18:28:

Behold, my arse.

yup, did landed

Posted by jdat on Sep-06-2002 18:47:

it's all a conspiracy I tell you !

like they made us believe the earth was round and now that a little man did a big step for all man kind was a big hoax

I want my money back

seriously I believe man walked on the moon, question is, why haven't they done it again??????? That's the real dilemma!

Posted by Renegade on Sep-06-2002 19:01:

There were hundreds of people involved in the Apollo 11 mission, and countless more involved in subsequent moon landings.

If the moon landing were a hoax, how could the US government have kept these people quiet for the past 33 years?

not in 1969, we didn't, not on our own, we didn't.

maybe sometime later with the help of the "little green men" (btw, wtf is up with green? why not yellow or red?)

Posted by DjSuez on Sep-06-2002 19:08:

I've read the articles too, about the pictures being fake, but i still think we did, why would we not, we can do it, and we'd learn a lot about it, so i guess they actually did it...

it isnt 260c but its v hot, about 160 i think. and -100 on the night side.

Posted by DjSuez on Sep-06-2002 19:15:

in a vacuum tank a man would explode, so that can't be it...

Posted by Technaut on Sep-06-2002 19:22:

i reckon we did land on the moon

but i also think the vids they showed us are fake

Posted by Limn on Sep-06-2002 19:28:

Then why wasn't there anymore infomration on it....I mean we only landed on the moon for crying out loud.

Posted by Photo_bot_2k1 on Sep-07-2002 01:09:

after reveiwing all the facts of this "we didnt land on the moon" crap ive found a reasonable explaination for every god damn fallacy they came up with

anyone with even minor knowledge of science and physics should be able to refute this

thats why nasa doesnt want to adress this... becuase its too stupid

its like me saying ferry corstens a robot and gouryella broke up becuase tiesto found out
and my only proof would be when he sits down he leaves bolts on the seat
HAVE U ALL SEEN THE BOLTS HES LEFT?!?!
but most of you havent seen ferry corsetn sit down and looked at his chair either....

so like yeah

*does best impression of Jim Carrey in Dumb & Dumber*

no way...

WE LANDED ON THE MOON!

Posted by netw3rkd on Sep-07-2002 04:38:

Gunna post this before I go to sleep...this is from an old thing I made up for research, so I'm gunna post it here.

Reasons to believe it was fake.

1. Shadows
2. No stars in the sky
3. When the moodlander tookoff to return the Earth, was no movement in the dust from the rocket engines
4. No atmosphere on the moon...yet the flag waved
5. Men bounced due to low gravity? No they just performed everything normal speed and slowed the film down 1/3 of it's normal speed (I believe that is what it was)
6. They did it becase it was a race to beat the Russians
8. If Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon, how did they get the cameras out side the lunar lander to film him walking?

Just look at the areas marked in yellow, and compare it to things in the list above.

The 'C' on the rock.

Now with 3 rocket engines on the bottom, wouldnt there be any disruption in the dust?

How did they manage to carry a vehicle in that thing if it was only built for two people and to carry a few essential supplies?

Those shadows look kinda cheesey don't they?

And these?

And why are the crosshairs in these images behind the objects?

Those are photos of the Lunar Lander landing on the moons surface. How did they manage to take photographs of it landing when there was nobody on the moon previously? And they have photographs of it departing..who stayed on the moon to film that? They just left some unlucky guy behind?
