Not only that, but once you buy it and take it out the store, you can't upgrade it anymore. The HD is proprietary so you can't upgrade it on your own, the memory is soldered in so you can't upgrade it either, and there's no line in incase you're on the road and wanna do a quick recording. Also, only 2 USB ports sucks!
i think the point isa that thunderbolt makes USB redundant. YOu can buy a hub with a bunch of USB 3 outputs in August, and a ethernet port and display.
Yes, for home it's fine, but on the road I want to eliminate all the clutter. I know when I'm playing out the last think I wanna do is use a hub. I wanna use the least number of cables possible. After all, aren't laptops meant to be mobile?

Thunderbolt peripherals are expensive, but then if you can afford a Macbook...
No line ins means they can sell more Apogge units.
USB 2 audio card users BEWARE!!!!!!
many traktor kontrol s users flagging an incompatibility of the hardware with the new MacBooks with USB3. It simply crackles all the time.
NI doesn't seem to be able to fix the driver issue, and they've got their hands full of it.
I guess other manufacturers using the same chipsets are having similar issues, so better keep an eye on it!

I got issues with my TRAKTOR S4 on my XPS702, sudden BSODs out of nowhere. can be after or 30mins or after 3 hours. have to drag along my CDJ's 850's with USB's again as backup.
Wanted to go for the new Mac Air? but are there simmilar issues there?
