Settle an argument for me. Pitch content.
Some think the vocals are out of tune. Others think they're perfectly fine and just have some natural and pleasant drift to them.
First sentence feels wrong for me, second feels alright.
fucking LOL'd hard at first sentence, but Storyteller is spot on.
First string of words is quite sharp. I would cringe if I heard that at a concert or in a track so I think the issue is bad enough to warrant some melodyne
It's weird, I can hear they're sharp but it just doesn't bother me.
It's only an audio demo I'm doing for somebody so I can drop or change the vocals completely if I wanted to.
I'll mark this day down. I was partially wrong about something.
First time for everything
There's still a voice in my head saying you're all wrong.
That's an easy opening for somebody.
yeah that was as sour as djryans balls.
the way she sings "You" at the very start makes it sound weird
It's like she's being punched in the vagina
yeah the first half sounds fucked up a we bit then she sounds fine
Do sound a bit strained n forced mate - like my singing style. BTW I did vocals for that psy track of yours but fuk me the track just wont load up to the cloud. Maybe something do to with the fact you'd already limited the track and my additional limited so it doesn't clip has cause outages or something.
Do you know another place I could load em to without some big fuk off rigmarole?
Hey G. try to shift her first "you" word a 1/4 note back and see what will happen - I can kind of hear both sides in this and think that a small shift back will/may give you some more desire effect - just a thought.

The problem isn't whether it's sharp or not, but her pitch never stabilizes enough for the listener to determine what pitch it is.
it is sharp. Singing is never a stable pitch. Your voice doesn't work that way. The pitch centre is not where it needs to be. It sounds brutal. Change it. or not, but that is the main issue that i would fix before anything else. sorted

Really it's just the first word. Fix that one up and it will sound better.
The problem is that the first note is supposed to be a D but she is singing it sliding from a C to a D# and it is throwing the rest of the phrase up

Ive had problems in the past with soundcloud, the odd track will give an error like "this track is too hot" meaning its too limited or something (not a potential dance anthem
)
Really?!
How odd.
That's just them admitting their encoding is shit though.
Hipster cocksuckers.

The offending sample has been removed. I shall also attempt to remove the suspected wax buildup from my ears.
All fixed
It's only a soundset demo so just a basic melody/riff/arp thing.
