Coming from Toronto Canada July 22-27. Maybe help us find a party/good club. We would appreciate it.

There's not much of a scene in NOLA... I was lucky enough to find the one party happening there while I was there just because a NY friend was playing it.

There's this one monthly party called Kompression at a venue on Decatur, across the street from the French Market. Unfortunately, you're going to miss it by one day... Mr C is playing there on July 28th.
I went to one last year while I was in NOLA for Jazzfest and the venue is cool and had a lot of fun The guy who throws the party is called Cam if I'm not mistaken.

Good luck staying cool, the humidity is horrible and it's hurricane and flood season, with late July and August especially being the time when NOLA gets hurricanes...
