Best 1960s movies
I have kind of a '60s fascination going on at the moment for some reason, but I pretty much draw a blank when it comes to '60s movies, other than a few really famous ones (e.g. The Graduate, 2001, The Endless Summer). So I was hoping you fine people could recommend me some good movies from the decade.
I don't really care about actors, country, language, or anything, just hit me with all your favorite movies from the '60s.
Should the movie have anything to do with the 60s? Or do you just care that it was made at that time?

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Bullit
Various James Bond films
Various Clint Eastwood films
It's late so I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but I'm sure the COR will fill in the blanks.
There are loads of brilliant films from the 60s....
Psycho
Lawrence of Arabia
Planet of the Apes
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
To Kill a Mockingbird
2001: A Space Odyssey
There were a few James Bond films also.
Are the James Bond movies actually great films, or just really popular?
I haven't seen any of the old ones since I was very young, so I don't remember much about them.
No idea where to start...
Godard's Breathless
Visconti's The Leopard
Fellini's La Dolce Vits
Tarkovsky's Andrei Rublev
Kurosawa's Yojimbo and Sanjuro (shut up, Lira!)
GODZILLA FILMS! I used to love watching them when I was a kid
The Time Machine
The Day of the Triffids
The Valley of Gwangi
Barbarella, lol!
Do you watch TCM? You should!

There's lots. Just all the (French, Czech) New Wave stuff would require a whole list.
Play Time
Persona
The Spy Who Came In from the Cold
Le Mpris
8½
...
And of course Barbarella.
Lawrence of Arabia (1962), considered one of the best of all time.
The Birds (1963)
The Dollar Trilogy (Per un pugno di dollari, Per qualche dollaro in pi, Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo)
Doppelgnger (1969) (Journey to the Far Side of the Sun)
I highly recommend some 50s movies as well:
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
The Thing From Another World (1951)
The War of the Worlds (1953)
Shichinin no Samurai ((Seven Samurai) 1954)
Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (1956)
Vertigo (1958)
North By Northwest (1959)
