Dude I played that Lonya remix a couple weeks ago live, fucking track is EPIC.

I'll be grabbing this when I'm back in Toronto

Posted by Adam420 on Jul-31-2012 23:47:

Cheers bro! Did you record your TL set?

edit: just saw your post on TOTA

Posted by Woony on Aug-01-2012 13:20:

I don't get why you would open with Recondite when the rest of the mix is much more happy and upbeat

Posted by Adam420 on Aug-01-2012 18:33:

Meh I don't think it's that sombre or out of place

Posted by Adam420 on Aug-01-2012 23:42:

Oh and on a related note, I also had a Desolate track lined up as the last track in this mix (this one) but I ran out of time as I wanted this to mix to clock in at under 80 minutes.

Like I said on FB, this mix is pretty awesome! The perfect length, diversity of tunes, and progression.

Ok, so after 5 listens now, I like it even more than the first time. I'm a huge fan of DJ mixes that cross genres like this, because it makes it so much more interesting, as a listener. Only if it's done properly, though, mixing-wise.

Your mixing is nearly always spot-on though, so there were no bad surprises here.

I liked the intro track a lot, and I thought it set the mood for a slower BPM mix nicely. The track at 19 mins is awesome, and it's my favourite from the whole set. Something about it just gets me.

You've done well on this one Adam, the whole thing worked together really well. And, any time you feel like delving into a few more breaks tracks in your stuff, well, you'll see me being a happy man

Thanks so much for the feedback Stubird! And Luke too!

the breaks tunes in here really stand out - you should play this kind of stuff more often.

Just listened to it, thx for your reminder on FB Just been kinda busy with my own music stuff, life, etc.

Amazing mix my friend, and I don't say that very often and MEAN it. Seamless transitions. You are one of the few on TA that utilizes harmonic mixing to its fullest, isn't afraid to take risks and is able to flow through different genres with ease.

P.S., this was brilliant:
Cybernalia - Asking Why
Marc Poppcke - Morning Dew

For me, track of the mix was Abdomen Burst - Ex Machina (Baunder Remix).

Couldn't find any flaws in this mix on the first take tbh. This is definitely gonna be getting tons of replays. Can't believe it took me this long to listen to it

Hey Adam, I listened to this on my drive home from vacation. Really really sweet. I thought the first half was absolutely spot on. A transition or two were slightly imperfect in the second half but everything was so boss it didn't matter at all. Excellent music.
