Do you like where you live?
What's the best city you've ever lived in so far? Worst? What's the weather like? Hows the food? Are the people nice? Traffic? If you had a choice to live anywhere where would you go?

Lawton, Oklahoma was the absolute worst.
Toronto and Tampa, FL are my favorites. Too bad they're so far apart 
From what you were looking for in the previous thread you made and deleted I'd say Tampa would be perfect, minus the four seasons. Everything else on that checklist is there.
It's a great city with a lot to do and see. I don't think I could stand the south, otherwise. I'll miss the beach A LOT if I move back to the Northeast.
It's 111F degrees right now in Enid, Oklahoma. fuck this place.

Otherwise, Oklahoma is a weird place. the only exciting thing is the tornadoes. otherwise, it's just kinda bland. I mean, downtown OKC is getting bigger and better....but it's still just kinda....meh. Enid has a population of about 50k.
Other places I've lived include Ames, IA (college). beautiful campus and a lot of really nice people. food was meh; but home grown cattle was good. country living for sure....it was a culture shock from growing up in the Chicago metro area.
After life in Ames I moved to Shreveport, Louisiana. I honestly loved it there. great food, a decent downtown. casino gambling. the river. the boardwalk. overall friendly area, I thought.
Now i'm in Enid....moving to Leesville, Louisiana next friday. it's the smallest place I've ever really lived....about 10k people. in backwoods louisiana. it's not even the bayou, it's just backwoods. excited about the food and some outdoor activities, but otherwise not a fan of the town itself.

worst LA i just don't understand anyone that thinks this place is not hell on earth.

oh And Ottawa. Ya ottawa is the worst place in Canada. Basically, i like big cities where you don't need a car. i would like to retire in France when i'm old.
Best: Newport Beach, CA
Worst: Edmonton, AB
Right now I live in Arlington, VA. I have mixed feelings about it. I really like not needing to own a car, and the area is perfect for advancing my business and financial interests, but on the other hand the climate leaves a lot to be desired (too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer, with precious little in-between), and the people are kind of a mixed bag. I've got commitments here for the next year, but beyond that I'm not yet sure if I'll stay any longer.
Best: Zurich, Switzerland. And Montreal, Canada. I loved both places equally, best times of my life.
Worst: Toronto, Canada. Mainly because of the dull, charmless, boring dimwits that live there. The city itself is quite nice, though.
And Orlando, Florida - tropical location minus everything interesting. And well, it's Florida.
Boston sucked ass, too.
I like where I live now, lots of natural beauty and the people are very pleasant.. I don't know where I'd like to live next, I'll worry about that when the time comes.

New York and I aren't on such good terms right now. On many accounts it's quite an amazing city, though when you're from here you don't really realize it until you travel to other U.S. cities. For one thing, nothing ever closes, and there's a shitload to do here. Plus everything is accessible via mass transit, and it's a cultural melting pot, making less culturally diverse places seem really bland by comparison.
The catch IMO is that you really have to be doing quite well for yourself in order to truly enjoy living here. Without gobs of cash, New York can be extremely exasperating. Even with great incomes, people just age faster here. Everyone always has someplace to be, and is always in a hurry to get there. Everyone's defenses are always up, by necessity, but people are usually kind if you go the extra mile to force someone to converse with you. Everything here is a rat-race, even just to do simple things like get a seat on the train. I have to be more aggressive here than I'd be by default, and it's truly exhausting.
I want to move somewhere where people are less on-edge. Somewhere where people are a bit more relaxed, but not slow or backwards. Toronto is one of the cities at the top of my list, as far as relocation is concerned. It's like New York-light. Someplace with no real summer or winter would be great too, so San Diego is also up there with Toronto. I'm dying for a break from this place

I live in Toronto. I'm starting to hate it.... reasons:
1) Canada is regulationland. 2am cut off for alcohol at clubs and 3am being thrown out? And law makers are surprised why so many cops are needed for all the drunk assholes out on the streets when theyre sent out like dogs ALL AT THE SAME TIME?
2) Toronto women are cold and career focused. Try talking to them at a club and more often than not you'll face the Female Torontonian Bitch Shield. God forbid you date a girl in Toronto, and it will feel like an interview.
3) The weather is extremes of both, its either really fucking cold or hot and humid as hell. A number of years ago it hit -47 once and summers can feel like +50.
4) People are very nice in general, just not when youre trying to pick up a girl, lol. I blame the guys too though, theres too many douchebags in this city.
5) Traffic in Toronto is a fucking nightmare. It was never this bad 6 years ago but in such a short amount of time its gotten out of hand. Public transportation, as in the subway, badly needs to be expanded as there are only two lines.
6) Food in Canada in general is chemical filled crap. Fruits and vegetables dont taste like they should. But in terms of restaurants Toronto is pretty good, but especially awesome if you like asian cuisine seeing how there are so many asians here.

Oslo, Norway.
Taxes may be high, but the living conditions there are WAY better.
I fucking love Seattle, but holy shit am I ready to move out of here. Four months in England is going to be awesome. Hopefully when I'm all done with undergraduate school I can spend more time in a different city. The world is far too large and life is far too short to spend all of it in one location.

I live in Brisbane, Australia. I actually really like it here, the lifestyle is super laid back, and the people are generally pretty friendly (there are quite a few bogans though, lol). Except for the really hot/humid summers, the weather pretty much rocks (for example, it's the middle of winter here right now and today is a gorgeous sunny 21C/70F).
There are a lot of really awesome options for food (FANTASTIC seafood), and we have a thriving outdoor cafe/bar culture.
Close by there's a lot of natural beauty, and very scenic areas, and while Brisbane itself doesn't have any beaches to speak of (mostly just mangrove mud-flats), we have the the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast only an hour or so to the north and south, respectively.
Other cities I've lived in include London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh... and Lancaster, lol. Each had their own merits and downsides.
I fucking loved Amsterdam, the whole lifestyle there is amazing, once you get out of the tourist traps/stoner culture a bit (though I certainly smoked a lot of weed when I lived there).
London was shit, I hated it there, and was absolutely stoked to get the fuck out.
Edinburgh was awesome, but maaaaan the weather sucks.
Lancaster was a funny, tiny little city in the north of England. I actually have great memories from there, the people were really cool for the most part.

Although I'd love to study abroad, I wish I could take the whole city with me. I simply love Brasília. I do have to be honest though, and say that I've been here for the last 20 years, so I don't remember what it is like to live elsewhere. I spent roughly a month in Nagoya, and that's pretty much it.
Pros: The city is very well organised, there are few traffic signs and traffic runs smoothly (during most of the day) thanks to an absurd amount of round-a-bouts, it's relatively safe (to Brazilian standards), the weather is neither too hot nor too cold (but it does get too dry sometimes), and the city is also very cultural given its size.
Cons: The lack of infrastructure has become a bit of a problem recently and even major avenues are prone to floods during the rainy season, the metro system (and public transportation in general) is pathetic, the city is too dependent on public jobs, and it concentrates too much wealth despite the staggering poverty of some neighbouring cities.
I've lived in Leeds for the last three years. The weather is appalling, I've no idea about the food because I don't dine out, the city has been so colonised by students and immigrants that it's difficult to figure out who "the people of Leeds" even are, let alone how nice they are, and I don't drive so the traffic doesn't really concern me.
It's not a bad city. It has just about everything you could want without being too large, and as such I'm rarely left overtly dissatisfied with it. It has very good nightlife - the club scene is slightly weighted towards trendy house and techno but the listings are some of the best in the UK, with something for everyone. It's pretty clean and the council are good, public transport is efficient and well maintained, it's very safe for the most part and it actually does surprise me sometimes with how pretty it looks.
I'd still rather live somewhere else - I keep weighing up a move to Manchester, and I would in an ideal world like to live somewhere like London or New York.

Miami is a supermassive shithole surrounded by third world islanders and south American mestizzos & mulatos who DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, ARE RUDE, DO NOT CARE FOR AMERICAN VALUES. SEND THEM HOME.
I found Love and a place I can call home in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Miami made me a NAZI, clean that place up. I still have business there but for the most part People in Miami HAVE NO WORK ETHIC.
