Don't you hate

When you light your last cigarette on the wrong side?

Posted by Intellekshual on Aug-04-2012 01:27:

Ugh, hate!
Equally frustrating, or perhaps more so, when you have a cigarette in your mouth and it takes you two hours to locate the fucking lighter. And no matches in sight. I was once so desperate I used a toaster to light it lol.

Haven't done it for at least a decade now, though I've been rolling my own cigs for roughly that long.

But yeah, it used to piss me off, lol.

This. I'm sitting there with a cig in my mouth, looking like a tard fumbling around in my pockets for an hour.

Then the cig gets stuck to my lips cause I was pressing down so hard and there was so saliva left.

So then I gotta rip the cig off my lips.

I hate that! Worse is when it happens while you're just normally smoking, and your fingers don't quite grip the cig when you're planning to take it out of your mouth between drags... then you burn your fingers on the cherry

Lol fuck, I hate that. I managed to do it like 3 times in the past year, two huge blisters form nicely on both your fingers. Agony.

Oh, pro tip: Don't EVER pop the blisters, no matter how tempting, just leave them alone, they heal 10 times quicker.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one

I don't smoke cigs, but I've done this with joints before.

Also, I hate when you're ready to light it and find out there's no butane

Ugh, tell me about it. By far the worst, though, is when you're dying of lung cancer and suffering immeasurably and you realize you could have prevented this by never starting smoking. Isn't that like sooooo annoying?

Here we go again...

I never thought of it this way. please wait while i take some time to reflect on my life choices....

Alright, I won't push it and try to derail the thread. It's just baffling to me in this day and age knowing what we know about cigarettes that anyone would take it up. But I'll stop.

Some people don't count living to be 100 to be the best thing in life.

I don't smoke myself, but I don't hate on those who do.

Except for the fact that they cause my health insurance premiums to go up. Why can't they just kill their liver like me

+ 1

But even in my family we've all smoked at one time or another, and most of my aging relatives seem to live super fucking long.

Never trust someone who doesn't smoke or drink

I don't either.

Good boy.
Even more baffling is why and how can anyone give the tiniest fuck about what someone else does with their own bodies. And feel compelled to tell them they're gon diiiie. No shit, sherlock. So will you.

But I'll stop.

Posted by WittyHandle on Aug-04-2012 03:23:

Ok then, I guess I won't. My intention wasn't to judge. The reason what I give the tiniest fuck is because I'm trying to understand the thought process. If someone gets hooked as a teenager and acting out, I understand that. Obviously I'll die like everyone else, but it's more about the quality of life and health that I was thinking of. Way to get all offended though.

its ok wittyhandle, don't need to back off so abruptly ..its' just funny to some of us.

Posted by Intellekshual on Aug-04-2012 03:31:

I didn't get offended, I assure you.

But I'd rather suffer months of pain and die at 70 than suffer years of pain just to die at 90 instead. My good friend's grandmother never smoked or drank, and she died at 92.. after YEARS of dementia, incontinence, immobility, pain, sickness and depression. That's why I consider it my duty to drink and smoke copiously now, so as not to burden others later. I know - I guess I'm just selfless that way.

As with almost all my posts on here, digest them with the help of your salt shaker.
