John Creamer & Stephane K: Bedrock 4
hey!!
what does everyone think of this ???
it just came out , and I must say .... I'm not impressed
what's your opinions on this ?
Well... nice CD, not that great though (doesn't come close to Nubreed 6 as for recent releases for instance)..
Haven't had the time yet to give it a decent listen. I'll do it tomorrow, and let you know my opinion afterwards

Just finished listening to this one completely, and I must say: I'm not impressed either. The mixing is good (obviously protooled), but the track selection doesn't do it for me. Too much boring tracks, the mix doesn't go anywhere, no buildup to something.
Sorry but this just isn't my kind of CD..
Bedrock has released better this year, especially the Bedrock Japan mixes by Ko Kimura and DJ19 are way better than this one.
first of all this CD is not for rookies who just started listening to house musik. the layout and tracks of the CD are put excellent together, the groove and flow is there. the only concern i had with JC & Stephane K was their mixing. some of the mixing isn't that great, but you have to understand that in house musik you dont need to mix all the songs. its all about the perfect timing and just switching it to a right song
about the songs...lots of fresh tribal/progressive house tracks. most of them pretty dark, chunky, dirty and deep
im impressed on the album coz it grown on me, JC & Stephane K weren't really my style but i did pay attention to their songs
the unique thing about JC & Stephane K is that they make very long remixes, that too some are boring as hell, but thats coz they dont understand it. it was boring too to me but then it just hit finally
album, structure, flow, groove, layout - 9/10
mixing - 7.5 - 8/10
