it kinda is though. a lot of big shows dont roll through here at all. all the local stuff is very techno heavy. and while i dont mind checking out chris liebing, pan-pot, felix krocher and shit like that, to only have that stuff on repeat is kind of boring. there really is no variety. sure theres tons of stuff going on in other places but you cant exactly head out every weekend even if it is obviously cheaper than flying from across the pond. for markus i gotta head 3 hours south. i cant wait to check out cocoon. i heard cocoon is quite expensive (really curious cuz im used to miami and ibiza prices) but the other clubs like where i saw felix krocher last weekend was free entry, no stupid door politics, and only 2.50 for a beer. that shit on the other hand i could get used to.

He's bringing KhomHa out there with him so gonna be a good show. Are you in Germany permanently??

Posted by ucforange on Aug-28-2012 06:21:

Ah, that makes sense. Although for good trance shows, there's only a handful of places in the U.S. that are consistent.

But man, I'd LOVE to see Pan-Pot. Definitely on my must-see list. Dark techno like that is awesome.

and theyre coming to my local club in oct.

(sorry about the thread jack)

TONIGHT!!!

Posted by chillenandy321 on Aug-31-2012 18:51:

Have fun tonight TA's!! His Scream Album is pretty good from what I listened so far

Posted by GavinSm3 on Sep-01-2012 18:31:

Wow, no comments after the show.

Im going tonight to the release party in NYC tonight and wanted to see a tracklist. Maybe everyone is still sleeping or running from the hurricane. LOL

Pat- what's the plan for Thanksgiving? I'll be in town again. Hoping there will be some talent at Space or LIV. Nothing is posted yet. For a few years, you could always count on PVD being at Space, but those days are over.

Last nights party was INSANE! I've been traveling all day (straight from the club to the airport) and I haven't slept...honestly don't know how at this point.

On the flight to Vegas currently...is it bad that I just want to sleep when I get there?!

Markus' visuals were great, the lights at Mansion are out of this world, girls doing acrobatic type stuf from nets hanging from the ceiling, confetti, horns...it was crazy!

The music was the real star...of course a lot from the album, heard a new version of Daydream..liked that a lot.

Wish I were going to the NYC party!

I went to both nights, Mansion and NYC. The vibe was awesome both nights. I will say this, Markus knows what he is doing. I am sorry I doubted. He used the vocal tracks from his album perfectly both nights. He would play a few then unleash the fury. Then build into another couple then more fury. It was programmed well and made sense.

The only difference was in NYC he had Adina and Seri singing live. I don't really care for live singing but in this instance it was nice to see in person the voices of these two girls.

I think people who worry about Markus selling out should have no fears. He does an excellent job programming the vocal tracks into the set to where it flows and makes sense. Instead of a trance set where you hear Concrete Angel in the middle, he plays Nothing Without Me. Instead of playing Dash Berlin he plays Love Rain Down.

Our Markus we know and love is alive and well!

I'm tired of him tearing it up, i like how he use to play before like during the MCprog days.
