Lovely, lovely mix. Best RA podcast in a while. I think a lot of people here will enjoy this. I call it "melodic electronic music", because you can't quite put a genre finger on it.

I absolutely love Apparat's productions, but I don't think I've heard a DJ set from him yet, or seen him live. Needless to say I'm really looking forward to listening to this one.

Actually, after listening to this I went and got a a whole lot of this Permanent Vacation/Hivern Discs etc. stuff that I mostly ignored previously (I normally hate anything disco with fiery passion)

I've seen him live doing his solo EDM-oriented music, his live band and with Modeselektor as Moderat, and have always enjoyed it immensely. Very talented, very humble guy. He never liked that our state didn't allow performers to drink alcohol on stage, and was always running into the green room for a sip during his shows.

He's gonna be at Electric Zoo this weekend, definitely gonna catch him and really looking forward to it. Bought his "DJ Kicks" album on a whim and am loving it... now to check out his RA mix.

Thanks Woony. I have the Terje record but I think I was in a bad mood the day it came in the mail. Gonna have to give that another spin later tonight when I have some downtime.

I enjoy Mano tunes, going to check that out as well. I like the cover art.

I also like all the tracks "Last House On The Left" by Pional, but it's not Youtube. And yeah, the Rising Sun track is great.

By the way, have you listened to Sommer yet? It's great, I like it better than Silent World.
