Watch me Fire-poi (Flaming balls on chains)

So i know alotof ppl have been askin for videos with poi:ing.
It can be done with for exampel glowstix or fire. You attach them to the end of chains and swing them around yourself.
Ive been doing it for 2 months now. It quite popular on raves.
This saturday i went to a crazy outdoor rave in sweden where i promised to do a fire-performance with pois. Anyway..in the middle of the party another TA member (SteveTranz4Ever) suddenly showed up. We had never met be4 but he had brought a camera so we filmed 1 of my Poi-performances.

It turned out quite good and Steve also did some amazing Editing to the video. He put a NEAT trance track on top (Dario G - Dream to me (A&B remix) and also some cool video effects.
So this is like a 2 minute music video with me Poi:ing....I hope you enjoy it Feedback is apreciated!

Yeah this was a great avent and the poi�ing show with mindshooter was really cool... And I�m very happy with the video edit... well worth the download...

mindshooter, fantastic!!! Loved the video- good visual quality, as well as sound quality. My fave move is the over the head butterfly, with the low buttefly. You've got perfect moves. Also, wicked beatmatching!! I wish I could have been at this party. If you have any more videos, post them!

Very nice video. I never knew what that was called but about 2 months ago i was at some party where people were doing that. I was amazed. Couldnt hear the music cause im at work and i dont think i want to play music at work.

Hey thx! I love the over head butterfly...cool trick.
At the moment (as steve said) we only have a very few minutes of poing. But there will be more off course. Someone always has a camera

way to go mindshooter i love poi, it's so fun to watch. i do it too, but not fire poi, just regular poi with the glowing fluorescent meteors attached to the ends. haven't done it in a while tho but it's mad coo.

That was sweet, I have never seen it done with fire before. I really have been wanting to learn how to do that but, no one around where I live even dabbles in it so it makes it a little hard.

Hehe ive hit myself so many times ive lost count... I burned myself about 2 times that night. Lucky me it was not during a performance. When i try to learn new trix with the training balls i always hit myself in the head or @ the "good stuff"

Its really not hard to learn if you REALLY want to and have someone to teach you. Ever since i saw that Glowstick poi video posted here on TA i wanted to learn it. And now i got my chance.

STeve, i would like to say congrats on the awesome film footage, how long have you been doing this? its pretty good, well at least i think so.. i have two friends who are really into that type of stuff and i thought that your video was pretty good man, also nice track selection to go along with the poi.

mindshooter: you are pretty smooth at firepoi, and major props to you, i like how you pulled off some good moves so easily (or you made it look easy)... also, that rave looked pretty cool, was it just some local event or what? .... nice job guys.

Thx The rave is an free Outdoor event in sweden that has been pulled off for a couple of weeks now every saturday..so im going again tomorrow...hopefully steve gets there with his camera

BTW i choosed the track But i must say steve did a AWESOME editing to it...fades ouot just right and comes in just right....

Well, then nice track selection on your part, but your right, he did everything really damn good, seriously...i wasnt expecting the effects i saw, i mean, i know how to do some of those effects with a camera, but not all of them, and he used them at the right time, just like you said... damnit i want to go to sweden bad .... oh well, perhaps this upcoming summer.

are there any good raves in the summer over there?
