beyond wonderland roundtrip transport for the SFTA's

http://bit.ly/S3syRt

there you go. looks like lineup announced with over 2 weeks to go? what gives, thats not like them. must be due to henryv not working with them anymore!

Posted by jonmitz on Sep-19-2012 15:34:

nobody here is going to that shitty excuse of a music festial

Posted by bigperf on Sep-19-2012 17:45:

I only posted it BC I know some people do go...I think a few dumbasses went to id fest, and last year some of then even paid more for their ticket than they were sold for

If I was in bay, id wait for the special major surprise guests at ruby Skye, ill venture pizza boy ceviche is one of them

Posted by 72hrpartyanimal on Sep-19-2012 18:46:

if i lived up there, i'd go. Its always been Skills doing the major massives so I'm interested to see how well (or badly) Insomniac does in the bay. Maybe Skills can take some pointers?

Meh, I'm going cuz the GF is friends with a big group of people who are into commercial house. I said in the other thread i actually like this lineup more than I would have expected given the presence of that "LA Beat Music" contingent. At this point bigroom trance and house DJs are all the same to me so i'm glad there's gonna be *something* other than dubstep for when I inevitably get bored.

what's up guys - NYTA here.

me and some buddies will be in town (SFO) this weekend and are going to this - obviously not the greatest, most amazing line up ever but still something fun to do while in town.

i'm guessing the weather will be a bit chilly? just trying to figure out how to expect to dress at the event

Posted by jonmitz on Sep-19-2012 21:57:

i'd bring a jacket or sweater and wear pants. you might not need the jacket, but probably will because it gets cold at night along the bay, and usually fairly windy/breezy

Weather is probably going to be great for sf. Make sure to hit up the clubs on Fri or sat, ruby Skye, vessel, slide for a cocktail.

continue the gaucho celebration after maravillas big win last Saturday!

great - yup! waiting to see ruby skye's line up for the weekend. vessel has a decent prof house DJ (deniz koyu) on friday. will look up slide.

any other SF recommendations!?

I've got to admit, coming from a web designer's perspective, their website for this event is really clean...http://beyondwonderland.com/BA/

Would love to see Orbital play an after party show at Ruby Skye, but that probably will not happen. My best guess is one of the following, since they have played at the Skye before:

Alesso
ATB
Avicii
Chuckie
Dirty South
Sander Van Doorn
Thomas Gold
W&W

slide is next to ruby, used to be speakeasy back in prohibition time, so cool going in for the historical background.

Depending on where in Sf you're staying at I could give you some recommendations

for bunch (bottomless Mimosa style) colibri on Geary is my fave on weekends.

So is the Jack N Box near Ruby. That place has been a lifesaver in the wee hours of the morning.

watch out for the crackheads though.

Buy a hotdog from the lady selling them just a few feet down from Ruby Skye. They are awesome!! Specially after a night of drinking.
