yep! lmao. markus also does the same in interviews, saying how a lot of the DJ's out there are producers that have released a radio hit and now have huge tours to do, without a good knowledge of DJ'ing and how to read crowds, etc. he brings a good point because you hardly see bpm chart dj's play sets longer than 1.5 - 2hrs.

Oh shit, He's getting old! But i thought armin could never die?

Seems kinda of kludgy to me but I guess its better than doing a pre-recorded show. Why not just have a 4 channel wav with SMTP and click tracks in the additional channels? The CDJs I'm sure don't suppurt more than 2 channel audio. I guess CDJ5000s? lol

Agree, it's not the best solution. A lot of times I wonder why EDM DJ's still use a VJ to sync the visuals to the tracks when You can make a video of them and play them through Serato. I mix videos pretty much every weekend and Serato makes it so easy, that it's no different than mixing two tracks. Off course, you can always get very creative too.

i think markus syncs his visuals with serato.

Not all DJs are VJs for one, nor do they desire to do so.

Also, not all DJs have the knack for video mixing. If you are doing it right, it should blend and mix well, which typically requires a lot more attention to get everything to work out.

Lastly, not everyone likes the layout of Serato. I hate it to be honest because I always see so much clutter when I see people using it. I'm more of a Virtual DJ / Traktor guy myself, which is one of the things I love about having the choice and variety for tools out there. I used Virtual DJ back in my radio days since they setup they had just wouldn't work. Using Traktor with my S4 now for home use though.

Markus usually tours with Steven Spielberg who does his visuals.
