I won't be shocked if Avalon pushes the boundaries with capacity like it used to. So many parties on NYE for the fire marshall to worry about.

They definitely would have tiered tickets for different entrance times to maximize on the sales since people either show up for the countdown or arrive after.

i dont know if AHP is still going strong but i remember a few years back at the last Giant Village... i bought AHP NYE tickets instead of Avaland NYE tickets and it allowed me and my friends to get in after 2am .. they were actually the same price.. just different time entrance..

Edit: Just saw the Monday at noon text on the flyer. Still in Montreal then, hope Wantickets works ok from my netbook!

Sucks to be out of state and plane tickets are double than usual just because its businesses 'rape people' holiday.

btw really amazing the love Markus has gotten at Avalon the past few years.

i remember in 2010 he played for the first time in years at avalon during the sunday night of memorial day weekend, now he sells out avalon in advance multiple times a year, cd release parties, and now NYE!

move over digweed, avalon has a new NYE resident.

Cannot wait for this. Flew out from boston in august for his set at avalon. Coming back for this. Hes gonna spin forever on nye. Going to hear some real dirty stuff, new material. So pumped.

I asked him what his NYE plan's were on facebook during his podcast, and he stated USA, I had a strong feeling it would be Avalon because he stated he was really excited where the location would be.

I was planning on going to POPNYE in SF, but now I know what I'm doing, thank god I'm taking that whole week off work, gonna take time to recover from this night.
