Having just had a peep in my local paper, a venue near me -The Loft @ (Keswick)-Lake District, Cumbria, is getting a visit from the GC king M Hardwick. So whos up for this, for you's NE side this will be no promblem 4 ya ie(Gibb, Ste, Luke).

Lisa Lashes is also on this week/

haha, it woudl be harder for us to get to keswick than it would be for us to get to birmingham i imagine!

my big cous lives in cumbria , she used to live in keswick but moved somewhere else in cumria, cant remember what the place is called like.
sounds like i mite av to inform her of this,
if keswick can get quality djs spinnin y the fuck cant suunderland, we av shite all in the way of good djs.

Hardwick is a resident in Newcastle so we can see him every few weeks, and I'm not really a big fan of his to be honest.

It's nice to see some good DJs in the North-West though, hopefully things can keep progressing in the North

@Mick, I think it's because Sunderland isn't really a city, by any definition of the word. It has no cathedral, so shouldn't be one anyway, and is basically a cluster of towns, there isn't really any city centre. Also it doesn't have any venues for it and it's very close to Newcastle which is the North East's only real city, so it gets sidelined a bit. I think Sunderland needs to get it's act together though you're right, even Middlesborough has the Sugarshack which sometimes has big DJs. I don't think Sunderland ever gets anyone.

But now you have the new metro link to the toon so scummy mackems can seek a better life

One of my mates is now living near keswick so it probs wouldnt be too bad and looks cool but think i need to save my money for shokk on the 19th
