It's a very small and simple indie game, but it manages to wear your heart out. I don't even enjoy playing it, ffs. Watch a Youtube video or two before you play, so that you can have a basic understanding once you play the game for the first time.

Never played those so I can't compare. Going to check AvP out now that you mention it.

Slender is really basic and a fast download, it's worth a shot. I suggest looking at a map of the area before playing, that will prevent you from wandering around aimlessly.

I played that one very shortly as a kid because it scared the shit out of me. I think I got it in a PCGamer magazine demo cd..

for me, doom 3. but then again i don't play anymore and when i did, not so much, but it was scary to me.
