Free blog experts?

Was wondering if you have any recommendations the best way to get started, a particular site maybe. Im basically looking for a page to write and posts music and sets. They will all be linked from like soundcloud or something embeddable. Appreciate the help.

I've never really been on it, though.... so I'm not an expert on it's functionality.

Look into cms like wordpress\joomla\drupal. Might be a little advance if you don't know html and scripting. You also need software like Dreamweaver. I recommend artisteer for template design.

Yep, my (never updated) blog is Wordpress too. I got some kinda skin thing for it, and tweaked it a little bit. Looks good IMO, and the back end is super easy.

Is there a reason you don't want to get a self hosted blog? You can get pretty cheap hosting for like $3/month nowadays for low traffic blogs. Installation is a breeze too, most shared hosting companies have Fantastico installed on their cPanel which lets you install Wordpress in less than a minute.

I'm only asking because with a self hosted option you would have a lot more options as far as costumization goes plus it looks more professional if you give somebody your own URL instead of yoururl.wordpress.com.

A self hosted option is usually much easier to optimize for search.
