how do you like your trance!
How do consider something to be a good set..?
a) ......takes you on a ride then onto a endless journey......without a return......(but you never make it there..)
b) takes you on a journey a ride.......you get there and "the end" stop.....mix over.
c) ....kicks off hard and puts you into the dream straight away.......and you remain there...until the end , no journey no ride......just ultra peaking music all the way to the end......
For me i like option B...
Slow buildup fast faster hard harder PEAK it, then chill it down with some dream tunes, then hard harder faster BOOM "the end"
but sometimes it just depends on how I feel that night, what I feel is how the music will flow, nothing plan, just music based on my emotions and feeling.
Well if your making a CD and call it Anthem mix or peak mix then I might consider planning it...(meaning a programmed track list)
Why that is done, because I don't stay PEAKED for too long. (I don�t use drugs to make me feel any music, don�t need to ;-) )
also would like to say people who dislike those dj's / producers for changing their style try not to...chill out and stay kool....... 
e.g
paul oakenfold, some of his pure trance tracks he produced is alright.
I state it as pure, since he mixes some strange tunes with trance like rap and trance? But hey his experimental. I give him full credit for this, his only trying to create a NEW genre of music.
well Tiesto changed his style, still lets remember people get tired of pumping out same tune all their lifes, as a dj you get bored if you don't change once in awhile. Maybe change slowly not instantly but got to change...sooner or later ..you don't wake everyday feeling the same way you felt the day before. You don't always smile all your life there are ups and downs, LIFE IS LIKE A roller coaster ride.....
so how do i really like my music? i like it like a RIDE!

Lately, I've been enjoying PvD's sets. I like how his style is really energetic,but I guess I like to dream to Oakenfold's stuff.
Nu Nrg Live @ orgasmatron and the new Cosmic Gate set are pretty good.
