No not this year. No more time to invest in such demanding and barely rewarding project. Throwing instead a private loft party for 200 people. Plan is to have fun with my friends this year!!

I'm surprised this Physical event is back this year with the poor turnout they had last year. Good news is there are 1000 people now "available" since there is no N Love 4! But guys, I don't see your promo anywhere don't be last minute, you should be selling tickets already.

@ paskal

Why not join 'em?

Well the image on the site right now is a pic of lab equipment with no other info.

At least they're going at this the right way

You booked the big O and you're one more thing ahead with no line-up yet?

Anybody else feeling like this will fall apart?

time vs. reward

With this type of party, the financial reward is rarely worth the amount of time invested, so you need to put a lot of value on qualitative stuff.

Plus you need to add risk to your equation. There are many potential risks: Noise complaints, alcohol permit issues, liability with the venue, equipment locations, logistical fuck ups, theft, responsibility of your guests and staff

RABBIT IN THE MOON [LIVE] ....

Posted by KrinKer on Dec-05-2012 23:38:

They expect to fill the big 'O with rabbit in the moon?

Wow, some people have no clue

Posted by partyhardMtl on Dec-05-2012 23:58:

more coming...

Yea really weird booking...my impression was that they're not around anymore (so they kids don't know/care who they are) and when they were around, they were in fact mediocre at best.

However, they had a fantastic live show...

But, as you said, no one is really going to bother checking them out. Perhaps if we were still in 1998...

EDIT / sorry did not want to post the image.

We need some trance...

It is clear now that the aim of this event is to bring out some of the most obscure and irrelevant acts of the 90s. The people who are doing the booking must have a very....peculiar taste.

RITM totally rocked the Ultra Carry-on at WMC '06 at the massive American Airlines...it`s quite a visual treat, and the beats were also proper. The Hardkiss guys were good back in the 90's but have not heard their stuff as of late. I got my Moudaber tix for $50 before I learnt of this, so my plans are already made. All the best with the event ! I think regardless that this dj line-up will blow away whatever cheese-fest will be at NCG.

I guess that time travel is possible after all.

yea...I'm not complaining or anything, just pointing out that those are some odd choices.

Posted by KrinKer on Dec-06-2012 06:42:

the big thing is ... that we're 25 days away ... the line-up isn't out ... the promotion isn't out and they expect to fill the big O with Rabbit in the moon ...

It might be an amazing show ... but the kids aren't going to fork out 100$ to see it. The party, unless some major commercial acts are booked (and I'm talking Tiesto, Guetta, Deadmou5, Armin, Pvd) or the party is going to be a MASSIVE failure !

However you may feel about them now, they absolutely owned in the 90's rave scene. Without question. Still, I agree, a weird booking to headline an event like this nowadays.

Scott is the only one I know of still working in music. I enjoy what he's doing, albeit in a very different direction.
