I always thought cats were too stupid to train...
this kid has too much time on his hands...
I've had my dog for 14 years. I'll ball my eyes out if something happens to her.
Matt, you make me believe in god... You really do.
You have reached me in a way that no other soul has.
Every time I read your posts, I pray...
I pray that god will strike you down for being a dunce.
GO AHEAD HATE ON ME HATERS
I think that song should be my TA song

Cats are actually too smart to train lol. The problem with cats is they're independent. Dogs just love you and are loyal but they're less intelligent.

A Cat's brain will intake more information than a Dogs but a Dog can process the information it does take in more efficiently.
I hate people who say "cats are independent"
Can they open the fuckin door on their own? no.
Can They make their own food? No.
they're just assholes. Thats the difference.
Great song.
i think cats have a more suitable anatomy for this kind of exercises than dogs. Dogs may be stronger but cats have more agility , the problem is that they have a though nature and behaviour, they're often lazy won't be easy to trick them to do something like this and they've to be fit.
Just think pick a 5 year old dog and a cat, throw a ball. The dog will run to the ball and maybe come with it, the cat will take a shit on your shoes.
Our cat is about 5 and will bring a ball back to you just like a dog would. :3
Stupid owners make for stupid pets.
I've trained my cats to knead my groin until I get MASSIVE boners.

Dogs are clearly smarter because they poop in the grass instead of in boxes because it's fertilizing the soil and is good for the environment.
Case closed.

| Originally posted by SYSTEM-J This cracked me up. Very true. I remember a quote by Terry Pratchett (I think) that went to the effect of "Cats often give the impression they are only tolerating their human owners until someone invents a paw-operated can opener". And I love all the people in this thread talking with complete confidence about a subject where they have clearly consulted no scientific research whatsoever. |
i stopped reading when one of you idiots said that cats are too smart to be trained, therefor they're smarter than dogs and then another one of you idiots said that dogs and cats are equally smart.
idiots.
