Cant upload mixes on soundcloud anymore... now what?

If a mix contains any song which you dont own the rights to it is blocked from being uploaded. Thats pretty crazy... that pretty much means you cant upload any mixes anymore. So whats the next best site to upload mixes? Id like embeded codes so i can post links to my mixes obviously.

Soundcloud is dead to me and digging their own grave here

use ableton to get past their algorithm detection. Usually a whole step is good enough.

That happen to me awhile ago. Make sure you use podcast when uploading. Maybe that helps.

Thanks guys ill try both here when i get a min. Looney can you explain how thats done? I recorded into ableton so now what?

I upload mixes all the time without problems. But, Soundcloud wouldn't let me upload my own production the other day. It said I didn't own the rights. lol Shoot, I didn't even sampled anything. lol

Isn't like mixcloud inherently better for this anyway? With the free account you only get 2 hours

Posted by Juan Paulino on Dec-20-2012 23:19:

Yeah but nobody can download your mixes.

house-mixes.com

unlimited spaces, free download, never get you mixes removed. wayyyy more people listening to your mixes also.

enough said.

Yes, house mixes.com is a great site. I didn't want to share it lol. You can promote your mix in that site better then any other for a special price.

HAHA, you can't upload mixes, this is great!

I haven't even noticed this. I just put up a new mix like a week ago too. What is soundcloud thinking?

I've been backlogging a few of my mixes on mixcloud with a mediafire DL link, might try out house-mixes too but I just got to mixcloud.

First the crappy new version of SC, now this? Not a good look.

What a joke!!

I stopped uploading mixes to soundcloud long ago mainly due to these issues, there are plenty of alternatives out there for mix hosting anyway.

I know I'm probably in the minority here but I kind of want soundcloud to be based more on people's own original material, rather than DJ mixes, I don't really pay much attention to DJ mixes on there.
