So I did an end of year mix. This is the pumping trance - pure as Platipus or Harthouse or a 1994 Sven Vath eye-q set. Some of my favourites from throughout the year.

While the trance that tries to sound like anything but trance (Armin and co. Trance 2.0) burns itself out over the next few years - this will become the fresh new sound of trance - in its purest form.

fantastic mix. i'm not sure how others will rate it, but for me it's one of the top 3 i've downloaded in this forum. the track selection is great and the mixing excellent. i think the tracks are phenomenal, no cheese, not trying too hard, got a little samples here an there and a bit of industrial EBM sounds on some tracks, and some soundscapes on other tracks. thus is what trance is supposed to be. great job. i'm going to look for other sets from you. cheers.

Im newish to the site, and the first time i've come to this board, and im glad i clicked on this thread first up.

The track list drew me in, as this is where im currently at in my own listening experience in terms of pumping trance.

Will Atkinson, Astrix, J00F, Liquid Soul, Ovnimoon, Mindwave, Magnus etc.

Just banging and the i love Psy mixed in with Trance, just adds to the flow, mood and tempo nicely.

Throughly enjoyed, following on SC and downloading now.

pretty good mix bro. keep up the good work. outstanding job of harmonic mixing, only complaint was that it started out too pumping ie i prefer slower builds in sets but overall a job well done.

hey guys thanx for the feedback - glad you enjoyed

in regards to the banging start - just about every set i have put online has been a slow buildup into banging stuff and just wanted to try something more linear i guess - probably something that would be more suited to a banging club night.

i should have a something up and running soon and will let you know when its official for some monthly trance (and progressive) beats
