What do you listen to besides trance music?

Hey!

I wonder what other musical styles you listen to besides trance and enjoy it as much as trance music?

I would like to take a small break from trance music and listen to some other musical styles. Can you recommend me any good albums in other genres that you like?

I listen to synthpop, sometimes eurodance, once in a while freestyle, and some country as well.

On the radio I'll play the oldies station, talk radio, or the country station, I avoid all other radio stations.

Only stuff I can listen to other than trance is Moby. But thats only rarely.

And why are you venturing outside Trance???

I listen to Alternative. I was listening to Sarah Mclachlan well before she got REALLY well known in the dance music community. Her fantastic voice coupled with meaningful vocals really is a great combination! and the same with Dido as well. .

apart from that, everything else i listen to is dance musci related. Drum and BAss, UK Garage, Breaks, Techno, Synthcore, Trance , etc

When I'm not listening to trance I listen to metal, industrial and gothic.

Hocico and Flesh Field are best of industrial (banging and agressive)

that means in my cd-collection u can find phil collins , bob marley , tom novy , metallica , ozzy osbourne , bruce springsteen , buju banton , capleton , wyclef jean , milk & sugar , george acosta , tom wax.....well...just a few pieces...

Some hi op, bu tmostly just freeestyle stuff cos its the funniest.

On the odd ocassion i listen to Radiohead, Oasis and some Ocean Colour Scene, I've seen them all in concert and they rocked/

usually switch it up all the time. I remember back a couple years ago in florida me and my friends would always listen to dif stuff on the way to and from school.
oldschool tuesday and so on.
Think all types of music are worth a listen from clasical to gangter rap, even if you dont like em.

Drum n Bass (LTB Bukem, DJ Shadow, etc.)

Electronica (Orbital, Future Sound Of London, etc.)

Synth pop/Dance/80's (Depeche Mode, New Order, U2, Tears For Fears, etc.)

90's Alt. Rock (Alice in Chains, STP, etc.)

Industrial (NIN, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, etc.)

Good film scores (Bladerunner, Gladiator, The Crow, Traffic, Heat, etc.)

Thats about it I guess. I stay the hell away from rap, rnb, country and pop crap (aka: anything on US radio stations).

Non-electronic, some punk. Other then that Dn'B, jungle, ambient stuff.

Trance is played about 95% of the time though.
