Writer in NYC hobby is to take pictures of current locations used for movies in the past. Neat idea especially if you are familiar with NYC.

I've seen this contrasting photo idea in a newspaper before, but to go around NYC doing it with old films is pretty dope. And in a cyber world where it's tough to find a unique way to exhibit your artistic work � whether you're a writer or photographer � I think this is outstanding.

Having lived in NYC for the past 3 yrs I assumed a lot of those buildings were kinda newish, built in the last 15 yrs or so...they look pretty modern anyway. So I was surprised to see them in those photos of films from as far back as 1961!! Shit, they haven't even upgraded the buildings since!!

Awesome concept...
