This is good for LA but I wonder how douchetastic the club is gonna be, being a brand new club, bottle service, etc. Anyone been?

I'm wondering the same thing. I was hoping for a club with the Culprit rooftop vibe, but I have a feeling it won't be that.

Seth Troxler is very tempting, though, may have to check it out.

They've been selling $20 tickets, haven't seen a link for this event, but I don't see it being bottle crowd only.

Do you think it will be difficult to get tickets at the door for Jamie Jones? I missed the online sale unfortunately.

Don't think so. As long as you have an equal ratio of guys/girls.

Went tonight. Love the lighting! Music and ambiance is cool as well!

fridays they don't worry about the guy/girl stuff... Sat night is more 'hollywood'.

go early and you should be fine. if there is some sort of discount guest list i'll let you know too... i know there was 2 nights ago.

YES

Buy online, there is no reason to not just buy tickets online at 20 dollars a piece when you know this is going to be a most likely sold out show and they will try to charge you up the ass at the door.

Anyways saw Gerber on friday and he killed it, he wanted to keep playing and go past 4am but they wouldn't let him.

The venue itself is awesome, loving the industrial feel in it; hands down my new favorite venue in town.
The sound in sound is FUCKING AMAZING ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INCREDIBLE!
The crowd is good a mixture of hollywood, tech/deep heads, and hipsters.
The visuals are good, they have a visualizer that runs the whole length of the club behind the dj; 3d mapped visuals also projected to the left, right, and back of the club.

This place is going to be a big game changer I think for the la Deep and tech scene, especially considering these guy have alot of money to throw at artists.

Overall 10/10

THEY DO THO, I saw it happen right in front of me in the guestlist line. There were 3 guys who thought they were on the list but weren't so she said she can't let them in, that normally they charge 20 dollars a person but since they're three guys she can't let them in unless they buy a table.

hmmm... okay maybe i'm wrong then. a fair amount of people were buying tix at the door so i didn't think they had to be on the list to do so. i guess maybe one has to be on the list to be able to buy tix if you aren't comped...

What time did you get there at? I got there a little later like around 11:45 so maybe that's why, but yea I got in no problem (comped)

like 1115.

but i agree everyone had to go through the same line and they asked if you were on the list. so i guess i never actually saw what happened to a group of guys who were not on the list

anyway, turns out tix are available for this friday on Wantickets --> http://www.wantickets.com/Events/11...4415b6e440f8a7d

Chances of getting comped are higher earlier in the night and you gotta have a good ratio. (gotta know a name of a promoter/host when they ask who's guestlist are you on?

Doors open at 10:30

Last night there were def more females than males in the venue!

Mikey you advice applies more to Sat nights that fridays...

Fridays are not quite that much of a hassle at the door by design. you can't alienate the core underground music fans (which they are actively courting by booking these djs) too much dealing with that hollywood club stuff or they won't go... and the hollywood crowd by itself won't be enough to keep the place busy with the friday djs they are booking.

also on fridays they open at 10pm.

either way at least for fridays you can buy presales to guarantee quick entrance so best to go that route if you don't know someone that can put you on a list.
