Yeah, I'm going to the one in Leeds. The Brudenell is a fantastic gig venue, very small and intimate. I've seen the likes of Pantha Du Prince, Daedelus and Oneohtrix Point Never play there, and when it's a really chilled out set, everyone just sits down on the floor and closes their eyes.

oooh Tempting, the Waiting Room is a good venue from what i've heard...

The 2 in London, managed to get tickets to the other London one in March... oh well

Damn... I didn't even think Ulrich had that much of a following in the UK, at least not enough to sell out TWO gigs

Thanks for the heads-up.

The venues he's playing at aren't massive, but the Brudenell hadn't even put tickets on sale when I asked about them, so they're selling out fast. Better pick up a ticket this weekend.

Fuck. I'm in Miami when he's playing in Leeds.

I would love to see Schnauss live

OK, so I'm finally listening to the new album.... it is rather sexual.

I still can't make my mind up about it... Always comparing it to 'Goodbye'

I can't make that one either

I am, however, making it to Sasha's Involver launch party at MOS on the 30th

Oh I went to his gig at The Waiting Room, got a cheeky classic Jungle mix CD he'd done upon entry too.

There were a few sound issues before he played but the set was ultra dreamy overall, complete with lovely visuals. Me and my girlfriend were happily falling asleep in the corner.

I'm not sold on the new album personally but it was fantastic to see the guy live. Enjoy the other gigs guys.

I gotta say, the new album is massively disappointing. It's not 'bad', but in my opinion, definitely not as good as 'Goodbye'.

Will be seeing him tomorrow. Will report back with my thoughts. I quite like the new album, and I particularly like the EP he did with ASC... feels like there's a bit of an ASC influence on the album.

Absolutely brilliant gig, better than I expected. The visuals were incredible, the sound quality was superb and the the programming of his set was an absolute journey. I've never seen an "ambient" liveset executed so well, and I'm really enjoying the glitchier, more experimental undercurrent he's added to his sound.

And I finally met Acton!

Hell yeah you did!

It was a great night indeed, beautiful tunes and some really cool visuals. We had a good chat with Ulrich too, after everyone had left. I can't remember everything we said though, as I was absolutely twatted by then.
