Im trying to identify this genre..

Hi trancelovers,

I was referred to a mashup track on youtube by a friend. I especially loved this part:http://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...5AFPkxKU#t=241s (continues to 4:36, i dont care about the rest of the song). Do you guys know if this is a special subgenre of electronic music and would you by any chance know any artists or songs which makes the same kind of music?

I really loved these 36 seconds of the track and would love to spend more time with this kind of music.

Sounds like French House. You can always start with Daft Punk's Discovery and work from there. Stuart Price is another popular name in that genre.

All I can really tell you is it's usually plopped into "Idie Dance/Nu Disco" on Beatport.
