Wow Sci-tec in the main room to trance, crazy. Well you trance lovers can now rejoice. Even more crazy if the line up ends being better than that Pure Trance show.

Posted by xxjavi88xx on Feb-24-2013 16:31:

Of course both trance shows would be on the same night

Posted by ucforange on Feb-24-2013 17:41:

The other show is still better.

00 Fleming and GO > any lineup that Space is going to come out with. Unless they're bringing Orkidea, Binary Finary, Super 8 & Tab or some other insane lineup...which isn't going to happen.

Plus there's no way to sell Pure Trance tickets since they're willcall!

I don't think SCI-TEC is a big enough draw for the Space operators to feel comfortable. Not saying it couldn't get packed but it's riskier. With a big trance show, it's guaranteed to be packed since there's only a handful of major trance shows for that fanbase. There's fucktons of techno/tech-house parties and a lot of people going to CLR probably won't want to repeat a Space night the following evening.

Are Richie and Dubfire slated to play anywhere Saturday night??? Hmmmmmmm

I just dont see the pure trance event going off. It has GO and J00F but the venue isnt known that well compared to Space and others.

Huge boost for trance this time around at more major clubs. That is the only way trance will work during WMC. I just have a feeling the Pure Trance event will be another 'Kingdom' party fail. But hopefully it wont be.

I love those two but I don't know if i could agree with that statement.

+1

This always happens!

I love JOC as my 2nd fav but Pure has a better lineup as of now. If you bring John Askew, Greg Dwoney, Jaytech, or anyone else good then you got competition. Right now this is just plain idiotic.

Posted by ArminD1981 on Feb-25-2013 00:49:

Luchooo !! kearney and downey along with JOC and itd be bananas.

Posted by ISOS4 on Feb-25-2013 02:03:

i dont see JOC bringing in some scrubs to play with him on a wmc night, expecting some names to easily rival that Pure trance night. Good thing tickets were ony 35 for pure trance. itll be a debate now once the lineup is released. If bryan kearney gets on this list, bet your ass im there. Saw him rip it up at luminosity last year before asot550. One of my favorite sets ive ever seen.

DISCLAIMER: My opinion means fuck all, only you can decide if something is worthy of your time. That being said...

One thing you can count on is the crowd for Pure Trance is going to be hardcore trance fans. Space will have some too, but let's be honest because its Space people will go regardless of who plays. It sucks they did this, but Pure Trance easily wins since us S. Floridians will probably never see Solarstone and JOOF here until WMC again next year. (If at all)

If you live any of the other major cities I'm seeing Kearney, Indecent Noise, and the like getting booked. Pure Trance starts at 9 and ends at 5. That's 8 hours for 4 dj's, so 2 hour sets for everyone if they split it up evenly. Of course I'm hoping Solarstone would play a 3 hour set. Can you say orgasm?

The comment about the venue is valid, the place just opened up last night and I wouldn't bet it will stay open for long. Miami is notorious for the mass murder of clubs. Look at Amnesia they lasted a whole 9 months before they closed and was sold off to make Story. The DJ booth from Club Souz is a huge led wall behind the booth and the booth itself is all led's. Space has literally no production, just shitty TV's with crappy looped videos. Not to say anything is wrong with that because I love Space and that's not an issue but yeah.

I dont want to continue the hijack of this event thread, so I'll finish this thought in the Pure Trance thread. Just wanted to say that we all know the state of real trance is not strong. Peeople always jump ship to the bigger club for the "bigger"" dj. J'OC is awesome and will definitely tear up the main room of Space. Both will be good events, but I'll choose an intimite venue with the style of trance I love. That is all.....for here.

Extended thoughts HERE

yeah i was thinking about the set times and if they all go 2 hours thatll be awesome, hear a wide variety of filthy trance music.

JOC vs. Indecent Noise vs. Sneijder tag team set!

Posted by colombianplayr1 on Feb-26-2013 16:49:

Is there such thing as a before 4am ticket? Or will we just have to pay at the door? I really want to attend both shows.

Posted by magicalmaestro on Feb-26-2013 17:38:

Which one will you choose: Pure Trance or Space on Saturday?

Why does JOC have to be playing on the same night as Pure Trance? If you are a trance fan like me then I'm sure you are a little torn between the two parties. The Pure Trance party's line up is superb but JOC is amazing as well, and it will be interesting what other DJs will be part of the line up. I'm still going to Pure Trance though because J00F and Solarstone are a rarity for Miami.

What do you guys think?

Posted by ccastro86 on Feb-26-2013 17:49:

we ask the question why are they putting on 2 good trance events in one night but most think there is plenty of trance throughout the whole week. Throughout the week you have markus, ferry, pure trance, JOC, asot, gareth emery, and several others appearing in multiple events making each night competitive most nights. We just dont eye to eye with most people.

Posted by ArminD1981 on Feb-26-2013 17:59:

Ferry, Gareth and ASOT are not TRANCE !!

I am well aware but that is not how most people who are not on this board see it.

TranceFamilyMIA and Lucho also have a stake in those events not Pure Trance. All the Space Trance events, 1 or 2 of the Yacht Parties, and K&A are all being supported (aka making money) by either one or both of these guys. Like I've said multiple times we haven't seen anybody near the caliber of JOOF and Solarstone here because they don't book them. Instead we get the same tired ass rotations with the occasional random booking but even then its Aly & Fila or Richard Durand (which was alright but he's going trouser snake to).

Well i believe we both have been working hard thru-out the year with Trance and i beleive we have a solid lineup of events , at the end of the day there's Thousands of people out there who are demanding certain artists & our jobs are to make things happen for them to keep the Trance Family strong in MIami , on the Side note i think Pure Trance is a Great concept but , unfortunately my goal is to try to provide artists that are a lil more exclusive to 1 event Example K&A ....
even tho JOC is playing at the Yatch party ... that event can only hold certain amount of people and its been sold out for the longest already ... and trust me its not going to be easy competing with that lineup Pure trance has ... very unique guys ...

just wish both parties do Great !

Hope to see you all soon
