2013.03.22 [NITE] Pryda @Space Terrace w/Pete Tong & Joris Voorn b2b Nic Fanciulli

Where: Space Nightclub (Terrace), Downtown Miami
When: Friday March 22 10:00PM -> Saturday March 23 ?:00PM
Who: Pryda ft Fehrplay, Eric Prydz ; Afterhours ft Pete Tong, Joris Voorn b2b Nic Fanciulli

I'll clean this up and add info, but I couldn't wait any longer for this event to have it's own thread. This night/morning could be..... wait for it.... I never say this..... wait for it....

Anyway, I don't know if anyone else has been thinking about it.... Since the info I got off songick was wrong and it doesn't look like Prydz has another gig that night, it raises a real question on what time he might come on. The more I look at the event info, it seems like Tong could be listed as afterhours. It makes sense that he would bridge the gap between Pryda and Fanciulli-Voorn, especially since the latter two are flying from Toronto that morning. This means Tong could maybe be scheduled for 6, leaving the main slot before that open for Prydz.


Thoughts??

I'll be downstairs at CLR but Diablo said he'd get me up there somehow. Saw him in Massachusetts at ID fest, it was good but the crowd and venue sucked ass. Hell the two guys I went with were young bucks and they were tired by the time Prydz came on. WIMPS!

EDIT: Seeing anyone on the Terrace is a treat, so its obviously bonkers to see Prydz there.

yes Tong is afterhours.... usually he does it Sat nights but Friday this year.


my guess would be Fehrplay 11-230/3, Prydz 230/3-6, Tong 6-9, Fancuilli and Vorn 9-12+

those could be off by an hour or so but are prob a good guess IMO.

Agreed. Prydz is being billed as the club's big prize that night, which almost always goes to mainstream acts for that first main slot. I think Prydz will go 3-6 or so.

Doing the Digweed yacht party earlier that day and then heading over to Space. Last year on Friday, I weaked out by 2-3am and left Space, missing most of the acts for the Enter party. I was kicking myself in the butt about that as my feet were toast from all the parties from the previous 3 days. Taking it easy this year to make it til 6am.

and CLR is downstairs at the same time - SWEET BABY JESUS .

i will try my best to get us set times the day of. make sure to bookmark this thread on your phones!

prydz 3-6 sounds about right, give or take an hour on each side. this guy is the real deal and i could definitely see him playing a set for the books and going for hours on end. the amazing thing about space is you're not limited with how long you can play.. you can just keep going and going and it's all good.

nic/joris at the EARLIEST will go on at 9. and tong will definitely be in between. i love him but it'd be perfect if he goes on at the same time as liebing downstairs.

i'm a bit scared for the CLR crew, to be honest. they're all going to be wanted for several hundred counts of murder after they're through with space. chris liebing is going to blow the roof off and make it rain fire beats all over the dance floor

Wish you cold have seen him when he played Space this January. Holy hell 8 hours of insanity. Made Ferry look like a bag of shit.

It's the best fucking venue in America. Say what you want about the bullshit they sometimes put people through, that place knows how to throw parties and they understand what the whole scene is really about. WMC can't get here soon enough.

I want to catch a bit of CLR too... but it's a risky proposition heading downstairs in the morning. Once people start rolling over from SoBe, Space will gladly accept ridiculous amounts of money at the door and the terrace will be the primary destination. Once downstairs, if the terrace hits capacity they will hold you for as long as you could imagine.


Anyway, enough negativity.... a great guy from Toronto took some amazing vids of Prydz recently. Now, imo, Space is no Guvernment, but the terrace will still be insane:

Yeah I'm not going to fuck with the CLR shit until after Prydz is done, which is by 7 am latest. Then you can go see CLR destroy shit for no less than 5 hours. The party upstairs is not to be missed...I don't think the vibe will be thick downstairs until that morning. Will probably miss Dettmann but I'm ok with that if it means getting to see Prydz on the terrace.

The best thing is to stay up at the terrace and dont take any chances!! like Dpetey said before, if u get held downstairs it will be hell to go back up, we even tried giving the bouncers $200 bucks a couple of years back and still wouldnt let us up.

This. I went downstairs to see JOC the night of Minus, and the wait was well over 75 minutes to go back up. And this Eric Prydz party is going to be even more rammed than that party was, I believe.

If you want to see Eric Prydz on the Terrace, do not go back downstairs past 3:30 a.m.

I couldn't agree more !! we used to stay in the main room till PVD finished spinning, by that time it was a nightmare to make it to the terrace.

Coming from the Digweed yacht party and heading up there. Going to try to rest my feet by sitting on one of the platforms for as long as I can as last year I weaked out due to feet giving out on me. Stoked to see what Prydz does to us on the terrace.
