The Morgan Room

Anyone know anything about this place? I see that Lange is playing there on March 8th but when I looked on yelp it said it was closed.

Apparently they remodeled or something. I was thinking of checking out khoma when he plays there on 15th.

It's a real venue but i don't personally know anyone that's been there since

I went a long time ago for a Guy Gerber party. It's two rooms and pretty large, Verboten had good parties there.

However, Massive started throwing parties there and there were a ton of complaints, primarily regarding the bathrooms and sound. I do not know if they've fixed the issues but the Kyau & Albert reviews seemed pretty horrendous.

I was there once for a techno show and i didn't think it was too bad. The venue itself is not hard to get to and there was plenty of space.

I think most people that goes to Verboten & BlkMarket are used to those kind of bathrooms. You don't often see trance shows booked at those type of venues so that's probably why you got all those complaints from K&A party.

Nah, Verboten had a ton of portopotties lined up on the roof so there weren't any bathroom lines. Apparently there was only one working toilet or something when Massive had K&A there.

That makes sense. I do remember The Morgan having a bathroom right by the entrance and they had portapotties at the second room

Now that i think about it for a minute i believe I was here for a Rob Rewind party in 2009, I think Frankie Bones was spinning. I just remember feeling like I was back at an illegal warehouse rave in the 90�s, felt cool to be transported back in time for a night.

Having an outdoor area is nice, especially now that parties no longer have chillout rooms. It�s nice to have a place to go to get away from the music and cool off, too many clubs and venues lack such an area.

So from all this it sounds like it would definitely be worth checking out Lange there? I've also never seen him. Have heard mixed reviews. What do you guys think?

I mean if you really like Lange, go, just be prepared that there might be logistical issues. For some people, horrible bathroom situations are not a big deal. Maybe since Massive is continuing to throw parties there they have smoothed over the issues but idk.

Been there twice, had a good time both of them. Most recent was K&A. It is shitty inside, and the bathrooms suck, but now many times do you really use the bathroom when you go out. Drinks were cheap and they had a good crowd from what I remember
