Pool Parties? What to bring?

So I'm doing my first ever pool party and was wondering what I should bring. I know of essentials like suncscreen and all that, but what about towels and things like that? Or will towels be on hand at the venue?

Towels might be on hand (for a charge probably) but they let you bring in towels. It just depends how much you want to carry around with you.

Figured as much. I just know that I'm doing some swimming, I mean it's a pool party!

most people don't really get in the pools. just think of like an outdoor party. shorts, comfy, etc.

I believe they do a light pat down... at least at the surfcomber.

Also, if you're jumping in the pool, do it early because after a few hrs it *will* change color

yea the water gets nasty. funny seeing drunk ass fuck people jump in without realizing what theyre jumping into. but dont let it be you.

i brought towels once and they got trashed real quick. if you bring some, bring cheap ones. we took a bag and they looked through it. made us throw our gatorades away but let us keep our sandwiches.

Loo. I agree about going into the pool. Definitely not at the end of the night. Not gonna lie, have definitely jumped in before. If you do, go in at the very beginning like already mentioned.

It looks like the surfcomber has a pretty large dance space it seems so the pool seems secondary.

I bring a change of shirt, sweater and maybe a small towel.

Hopefully we get this sort of entertainment.

Yeah, I plan on being in the pool earlier in the day, just to cool off. It doesn't seem like theres much shade to stand under. I can imagine how disgusting the pool gets after people slosh beer, have unprotected sex, and pee in the pool. Must be a breeding ground for AIDS.

lol. i think you would be lucky to get the hiv. you can live with that basically normally now especially in the america. it's the mutated unknown stuff i would be worried about.

I'm assuming back packs / small "Pool" bags are ok?

(Change of shirt,towels,sandwiches, sunscreen, etc.)

if you're not careful, you'll come out of the water looking like Blinky the 3-eyed fish from The Simpsons
