Why isn't this at Kennedy for a 21+ crowd? How much money are kids really bringing in outside of the cost of the presale? Don't get it...AvB is not Cosmic Gate, I don't see why he should be booked at such an inferior venue. He'd sell out any club in Tampa. And of course AvB will play a truly shitty set since he's playing for yolo kids at the shittiest venue in Florida. He might like it though since it means he won't have any expectations placed on him and he can play trouse all night.

I recently stated that I would attend a show at the amp if necessary because I haven't gotten out in a while....looks like I am still waiting...dude could easily sell out the ucf arena...or something larger... How about the ritz if he was interested in something smaller but not too intimate... Maybe the amps promotors need a raise... A guess a big booking for them depending in how you look at it.

WTF?! $50 to see just AVB??!! I would rather pay $50 to see Suzy spin a 3-4 hour high energy +140bpm set than to listen to ASOH (A State of House) for 2 hours Lame!!! Even at the peak of Tiesto's career (should I say trance career) his shows were no more than $30 @ AMP. Promoters are high of their own supply indeed! Only time I paid $50 was in 2002 when I lived in NYC and it was gonna be my first time seeing AVB but Judge Jules, Christopher Lawrence, and Edgar V were in the line up as well. Then of course Armin was a no show and they didn't even give a partial refund. Despite that it was still a good show by the other guys.

The price could also be high due to DJ and Agency fee's.

All of you complaining about price should write a letter to Armin, his booking agency and management. The reality is that he is getting the majority portion of ticket sales, between an up-front guarantee and a backend cut of the final sales. Why is Armin not playing somewhere else? Because no other event organizers were willing to make the investment and take the risk.

If I were to write Armin it wouldn't be about this event, it would be about his chronic use of the word Trance. Just fuck off already and do what Tiesto did. These guys using Trance as a genre are shitheads, they know they can't change over to electro/house or whatever and be just as successful as the others so they stay in the genre and fuck it all up.

Oh and btw THIS vocal minority loved this music before the young fuckheads thought it was cool and actually most of them thought this music was for gays so yeah. I'll bitch and complain til the day Armin quits acting like he's doing Trance a favor.

At the end of the day, it is pretty obvious that the venue you promote and the bookings it brings don't get much play on this board. No one is going to attend a # friday at the amp with a bunch of dirt high school kids trying to get in to see some dubstep with a fake ID. I've walked past that line on a friday... no thanks. Markus or Ferry. I'll be there.

The Amp is horrible.

god this show was incredible. i am still in awe. did remind me of armin when i saw him back in o4. pure bliss. one of those nights where u feel so lucky to be alive and hearing such amazing music. he was just so good. wow. energy of the crowd amazing, great sound and visuals. tritonal there last weekend and completely sucked
