Music Radar's 27 best FREE VST plug-ins...

So, Music Radar has been scouring newb threads on music production forums to bring us a list of the same free plugins that anybody with a pulse has already known about for the last 6 years? There you go kids - the way to make money in this business isn't by producing trance, it's by exploiting clueless advertisers with your 10th grade-level journalism skills.

) they will simultaneously neglect the largest segment of producers.

Well, its definitely not spam thats 1 thing I know (if thats what you're talking about).
Also, you're not allowed to post requests for plugins, but you can definitely make a list or post a link to one. Just look at this thread. The rules say nothing about it.
Robby! Welcome back mang!
But honestly, you should have picked a better topic to spuff your 1st returning load on.
I mean, fuck search rankings, it's not a validation worth the server space it's stored on.
It just means someone in the company (or in India) is great at SEO. For instance, for my business, I found this guy who charges $100 a month and will put you at the top of the organic google rankings for 5 search terms. No red flag techniques, no breaches of best practice terms of service. He just used to work for google and knows how to bend it to his will. And I chose the the broadest terms on the most populous city in north america, and within a month I was up there. Who gives a fuck if I drop if I stop using him. The bottom line is, for $100, I make that back in less than 30 mins in no small part to that page ranking.
Oh and some SEO techniques are far more permanent than you think, especially if the guy building it knows how to build cohesive link and bridge building for your business.
Anyway, I digress but Dave is right; we don't need it, anymore than we need banner ads on websites that no one ever clicks (I sure as hsit know in nearly 15 years of using t'interwebnet I've clicked on banner ads maybe twice, and those were mistakes.
reminds me of this:

Hey man, hope all is well!
The only reason I'm arguing with Cryo is I honestly didn't see any problems with the list. But I'll leave it alone as he's obviously entitled to his opinion.
As far as SEO goes, is there anything that you DON'T know about? lol.
For the last year & half I've been learning how to rank sites in google, so I feel like I had to say something. I had no idea how profitable it actually is if you know how to monetize the sites well (I don't use ads I target local and sell the leads to small businesses).
Eventually I found a guy to outsource to, who charges the same that your guy does ($100/month) but he only targets 2 keywords. Completely safe and no slaps from big G. Which I'm sure you know is becoming a lot harder to avoid these days.
It took me a while to find him but SEO is AWESOME lol. I absolutely love it. I still make music but I waste a ton of time now working on new sites. Takes me a couple days to make a site, I outsource the SEO, and within 2-3 months they are generating leads. Then I give them to local businesses and collect 10% on sold jobs. Just rinse and repeat over and over. Marketing is the last thing I ever imagined myself doing, but once you learn it, you realize its one of the most valuable skills a person can have.
Anyway, glad to know that you are well versed in SEO. I've always wanted to rank a site in the music niche, but don't really see how it can be profitable. Aside from selling sample packs or something. Or maybe even selling file projects as tutorials to help new producers.
Either way, nice to see yah man.
I should be around more often & its nice to see all you guys still doing your thing.

ps. Did you find your guy on a well known marketing forum? I don't care about his name or anything just curious how you met him.
