Pop tunes with quality trance remixes
I'll be DJing this weekend at a very commercially orientated crowd, so I was wondering if you guys could suggest some commercial songs which have nice trance remixes.
Some suggestions to get the ball rolling:
Kosheen - Catch (Ferry Corsten vocal)
Madonna - What it feels like for a girl (Above & Beyond mix)
Ian van Dahl - Castles in the sky (Wippenberg remix)
iio - Rapture (Riva, Armin van Buuren remixes)
Oh and before you yell and scream, I did do a search for this!
why not just play pop trance... you dont even need regular pop with trance remixes...

that crowd is going to be tough
but as long as you are having fun, don't give a rat's ass on what the crowd thinks of the music

Someone Like You (Gabriel & Dresden 911 Vocal Mix) should add another meaning this week, since it's actually a tribute (according to the record sleeve, they recorded it on "that day"). also, Blank & Jones have remixed Pet Shop Boys' "Home & Dry", go figure. finally, if you've decided to use DJ Sammy & Yanou - Heaven, use Green Court's remix for the sake of everyone in this forum. |
