My 8-hour long mix (downtempo/nu-disco/deep house/tech house/prog/EDM cheese)

Hey all, back in late December, I played at a house party for an acquaintance of mine... there was about 40-50 people there, none of them knowing much at all about electronic music. So I played an extended set, probably the longest I've ever done... starts out with some downtempo (with "fade in" style mixing), and then I move into beatmatching once the nu-disco starts. From nu-disco I go into deep house, tech house, prog all the way to a big-room EDM cheese finish. There should be something for most TAs on this board (apart from maybe the psy and trance people... but I'm sure if I was up for playing longer I would've played some classic anthemic trance).

Overall I think I did a decent job with the mixing although some stuff may sound out-of-key. That was probably when the vodka took effect :P

I apologize for the cheese towards the end, but I do like my cheese every so often! And I had to throw these people a bone and give them at least one or two recognizable songs (hence why Levels and Save The World are in there :P). They all loved that Zelda remix, especially since they were playing New Super Mario Bros Wii at that time and thought it was a huge mindfuck :P

honestly, the 8 hour time is whats preventing me from listening to this much more than the cheese at the end. Truth be told I am interested in seeing how you mixed in the cheese. I will probably listen to the end of this mix and give some feedback.

Haha, yeah it's pretty overwhelming... imo it's best to listen to in pieces, since there are some pretty clear 1-2 hour divides in it... like if you want something downtempo, listen to the beginning. I just was very excited I got to play for 8 hours straight and got a chance to build a set between multiple genres.
