World's best country not ready for the truth

www.atheistberlin.com/study

So apparently the US postal service has been deliberately discriminating against morally superior shoes. Not suprised .

So I guess eating dried cranberries/blueberries when you have a stomach flu is a recipe for your ass cleaning itself out.

Atheist shoes? Do they not have a sole or something?

This is of no surprise to anyone that knows the USPS and it works the same with other unpopular groups. Its faceless however and impossible to really go after.

These are nice shoes. I want a pair, even if I'm not a self-professed atheist.

wait, this thread isn't about australia

Not surprised, Americans are notorious for hating, fearing and discriminating atheists even worse than they do against homosexuals.

Yup, the big bad atheist is out to get America.

WHERE ISN'T YOUR GOD NOW, ATHEISTS!?

Posted by jayxthekoolest on Mar-28-2013 02:38:

Atheism is for 17-year-olds who think they're smart.

Yeah. All the smart kids are theists, surely.

Pretty much this.

Why do Atheists need "Atheist" shoes? Are you in some type of club or group that has a central belief? Not believing in God really isn't a justification to wear shoes that are specifically catered toward Atheists. It seems that you are falling into the same trap as religious people (No offense. Actually, some offense.)

We are a raggeldy lump of folk in Berlin, who like to make shoes and happen not to believe in god. One day, we decided it would be fun to put those two things together, to make an "atheist shoe"... and, bizarrely, enough people liked that first shoe that we began making more of them. The result is a room full of multi-coloured, Bauhaus-inspired footwear made of the finest calf-skin and this web-shop where you can buy them. If you would like to read more about us, you can do so here.

What a bunch of shit that is. Buying a shoe just because it is made by Atheists? How childish could you be? And how stupid can you be to buy into this? Do they make donations from the money they obtain from their purchases? I didn't see it on their website. That proves the statistics that state Atheists are less charitable, I guess.

Also, "Darwin Loves" on the soul of the foot.

Funny, since Darwin used his theories to justify the existence of "savage" and "uncivilized" races. Not much "Love" there.

Posted by Lira on Mar-28-2013 03:42:

No, Darwin never did that.

Ridiculous as it is, please think of these people as "the unhinged few".

This just comes to show how pointless this whole debate has become. This is not as bad as gospel psy-trance, but it's close enough.

I know, I know, I should have stated that. But, generalizing makes writing so much easier.

When I picture someone buying this shoe, I see an overweight basement dweller wearing a fedora that browses r/atheism on reddit.

Thank you! I completely forgot my ECON 101 material, how could I be so foolish?

Actually, more like marketing 101, but I never took that shit. Small Business is for suckers.

Correction: Dogmas are for 17-year-olds who thinks they're smarter than they actually are.

In case you're wondering, i have not the slightest idea what religion or religiously related ideology I belong to. Probably the humanists.

So much pearl-clutching!

I think this has a lot more to do with the fact that they're clearly marked from another country, and with an agenda of sorts. If I ordered 'Republican Socks' from Iceland, they'd probably give my parcel the go-around, too. When did I start writing like this? I don't know.

Posted by OrangestO on Mar-28-2013 14:31:

Good thing my drugs from Amsterdam, which I ordered on Silkroad, made it OK.

God forbid a pair of shoes makes it.

Does your seller label it 'Christian Crafts'? Poor atheists!
