Beef Jerky is for winners.

It's the best goddamn snack. Low cal, low fat, high protein...I'm partial to teriyaki flavour.

It is immense. Although, the stuff we get on this side of the Atlantic is probably incomparable to the stuff you get over there

We generally get the big branded, commercialised jerky.

Still awesome, though.

Love jerky, can't really go for the Teriyaki flavoured ones though.

I don't understand why there's no beef jerky here in Brazil... at least, not that I'm aware of.

Posted by Sushipunk on Mar-28-2013 23:52:

We can get kangaroo jerky here But yeah, beef jerky is good stuff.

Posted by Kylle on Mar-28-2013 23:54:

I just googled this. Looks delicious.

Posted by OrangestO on Mar-28-2013 23:59:

No drugs? No beef jerky?

Fuck.

You're really missing out, my friend.

Posted by JEO on Mar-29-2013 00:06:

Beef jerky, that's lihajerkku for me in finnish, is fantastic. Like chewing gum made out of meat.

Posted by Kylle on Mar-29-2013 00:21:

We get to eat this instead. It's delicious as well

Posted by enydo on Mar-29-2013 01:27:

My aunt and uncle make a lot of beef jerky / deer (yeah, it's amazing) jerky. I've pretty much grown up on the stuff. Any time I'm going to be in the car for more than an hour or so I grab a bag.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-29-2013 01:29:

What does deer jerky (and kangaroo, now that I'm asking) taste like in comparison to beef jerky?

Kangaroo jerky is pretty similar to beef jerky, just with a slightly stronger and slightly gamier flavour.

Posted by enydo on Mar-29-2013 01:37:

It tastes similar, but it's got this tang that beef doesn't have. Kinda hard to describe.

Maybe the one you got was a shit brand? There are quite a few different ones. The one I tried was just like beef jerky, mostly.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-29-2013 01:52:

Or maybe Stu likes the taste of sunbaked greasy anus? Imo.

Posted by Sushipunk on Mar-29-2013 02:35:

Well, there's that too.
