Don't you hate when you open a thread thinking someone is posting a review but they're really just asking for them? I hate that. But that's what I'm doing right now. Suck it.
I've heard one vote saying he "sucked frozen turd". Can anyone confirm or deny turd status?
heard it was packedddd all day/night
he started out really hard but yea the later hours he started played more melodic and deep
guess it killed the vibe for some people. wonder what time he got off?
I caught him from 10-4. set sounded like quintessential Danny to me.
Wasn't as hard or vocally as other sets but lots of nice smooth gems in there, no complaints about the music from me.

Very melodic and deep set. Such a contrast to his November set.
So much fun to have booze at Stereo. I stayed from 5pm to 3am, he finished just before 7am.
Really glad I went. Quite busy when I got in (8pm) and it dropped to full but not crammed levels by midnight. I stayed til 5:30am, just enough time to catch my bus back.
Good music, techno-house backbone but not hard and very little vocals. Really good vocal house oldies segment ~2:30am. Didn't think I'd ever hear "Walking on Fire" on a large soundsystem again. It made my night.
He said ~3:30am that he'd been playing for 12 hrs (I'm curious as to why he didn't start at noon). Also how the Groovejet party in Miami was cut short and he didn't get to play what he planned so we'd be the recipients instead.
Very friendly crowd as usual, mix of young & old though it was the oldies that stayed later.
Loved all the candles hanging off the light rig, they made the space look beautiful and intimate.

Marathon Sets
To you experimented people I have to ask some kind of noob advice. How do you manage to pace yourselves for a 15h set? Any tricks or advices are welcome.
Thx

That's been an issue for forever, I just don't get why they don't at least serve protein bars. They used to bring fruit platters out in the morning at Morales parties sometimes, but that's the only time I've ever seen food there.
And if you're not peeing for 8 hours, you're not drinking nearly enough water.

People have been telling them that for years. It can't be any harder to stock and sell protein bars than it is to sling bottles of water. Makes no sense.
I once saw deadhouse in 2007 at a dive bar in Ottaw...for only $20
they had a trey of donuts

In 1998 I saw Ed Rush & Optical at The End in London. I forget how much I paid.
They had a girl passing out pastries to everyone waiting in line.
and btw for me... mr. freeze > food ... when raving. just eat well before your spree and after.
