What's your favorite word in the world?
And why is it your favorite word? Is it because of the sound it makes when you pronounce it, or has it something to do with what it means?
I think my favorite word is archipelago, which basically means group of islands. I think how you say it is pretty silly, but the word has a pretty cool etymology, and I like islands.. I dunno..
There. I did it, now you do it. That was the deal.
Cunt. Because it's vulgar. Abrasive. Agressive. It is a strong sounding word that sends a strong message. I enjoy the feeling of the way it is formed with my mouth when I say it and it is satisfying to say it.
acquiesce. i just like the way it sounds.

I like 'coalesce' an awful lot; though it's not an easy one to incorporate.
I have a fondness for most any word that adequately describes what it means, seemingly just by the way that it sounds. Like 'pus' and 'hurl'- it's probably just the connotations a native English-speaker has attached to such terms, but those are great words nevertheless.
Skank
Coalesce is a good 'un. I recently discovered "convalescence". There's something about that "Co-" opening to a word, especially when combined with a largely pointless "sc".
Superfluous
I have a running game with my boss as to who can drop the most words out of a given list during a meeting...
If anyone notices you are trying to actively incorporate weird diction into your speech, you lose
the list varies from week to week, but this week it includes the following:
Expeditiously
Fortuitous
Plethora
ambiguity
aggregated
aqueous
litigious
I have a big contract claim settlement negotiation tomorrow afternoon and im planning on using every single one of these bad boys.....
Inimical is always a big favorite of mine. Coalesce and acquiesce are also great.
flatulence...
sexiest way to say i farted.
No, that honour surely belongs to "Dear me, I am afflicted by a dire case of the vapours!" *smelling salts*
