Making digital clock that comes with autos display 24 hour format: HOW?

Is there a way of doing this? How do I find out the manufacturer of the clock in the auto/vehicle and how to make it display 24 hour? I heard about jumpers and stuff inside digital alarm clocks that, if you know how to mess with it, make it display 24 hour but, I don't know if this is possible with the digital clocks in vehicles. Does anyone on here know anything about this? If so, get back to me on this.

i doubt you can change a US clock to that unless the option is blatantly obvious. i imagine, if theres a corresponding euro/japanese model, try to import n switch. i wouldnt think that the average clock has much in the way of demand so the price may be low...hell talk to the canadians...theyd prolly know places to find one|

I always thought that this was present in at LEAST all Japanese and European cars, since all of the electronics are made in Japan, where 24 hour format is VERY common.

As far as the Canadians are concerned, how would they know (unless they actually have digital clocks in their cars that show 24 hour format)? They use a weird analogue clock that is in 24 hour format and the hands only go around once. Looking at a clock like that (that has all 24 hours (00-23) on it and goes half-speed) would take some adjustment to. At 1st glance, the hands are pointing to where 4 o'clock would be on a 12 hour clock but, instead it's 8 hours. Digital clocks are the best for 24 hour format. For analogue, I'd choose the 12-hour style but, have the 24 hour numbers under the 12 hour ones, like you see everywhere.

why would u want to adjust to military time anyways??? persnally i find military time annoying...

what the fuck are you talking about weird 24hr clock... ass, we use a plain ol clock... just like everybody else ignorance or just absolute retardness rocks. oh, if it was supposed to be a joke, at least make it sound like youre telling the truth... man... weird

24 hour time is SO much easier than 12 hour time (for me) because there's NO AM/PM, meaning there can be NO mix-ups in what time it is, because every hour only comes around once. It's like a stopwatch that begins at the beginning of the day and ends at the end of the day. What's so hard about that?

Someone told me that Canadians use 24 hour ANALOGUE clocks that have hands that go around only once. There's a post about it on these boards that I started some time ago. Read it for yourself.

...yeah... i remember posting in there... are you ignorant or just stupid. if stupid maybe you should read a book or two about canada and not believe the obvious sarcastic remarks us canadians post to such silly questions.

Not exactly. It's dark out in PART of BOTH Meridians (sp?). Just depends on the season.

nah... i dont feel like watching it. im just tired of ignorance towards others countries, especially in regards to something like this. i mean youve got to be pretty dense to believe a lot of what was said. it musnt be fun living such a shelterd existance. and also... read a book anyway, it'll defenatly do you some good.
