How many of you drink during the work week?
Sometimes i'll buy a 15 case of beer and it'll last me from Tuesday to Thursday, which is 5 beers a night....but sometimes I think it's probably bad for my 'carreer'.
Nothings worse than having a meeting at the begining of your shift and you're expected to give your weekly numbers, and thoughts of the week, and possibly sounding like an idiot cause your brain isn't all ready right away. Just wondering how many of you drink during the week, and how much. Perhaps I can't drink 5 beers a night anymore.
2/3 beers a day on average. Splurge one week day per week and definitely pay the price the following day at work.
Is the opportunity cost worth it? Yes, Sir.
Lately I've been drinking more on weekdays than weekends. No rhyme or reason to it...some weeks I will have a bottle of wine over a couple nights, others I will go 3-4 weeks without touching a drop of anything.
Thanks for share the post with us.
I drink during the week all the time.

Drinking is a strictly social activity for me. I'll have the odd pint mid-week if I go to watch the football after work or see a band, but I don't keep any alcohol in the house and I never drink at home.
Although last time I drank in mid-week with Acton, I was still drunk until about 1pm the following day.
all the fucken time. not unusual to go through 3-5 bottles of wine during the weekdays.
Yep. At least one beer a day.
It'll be the same way up until I graduate from my grad program too. Then when work starts, I dno. We'll see

I pound tall cans during breaks. I have to be animated when I give a class. Nothing like some liquid courage to loosen me up and have them cracking up.
Alcoholism has some benefits.
I would probably go trough a bottle of vine during the week. Nothing major, just a drink every night while watching TV or something like that.
Or going out for a beer or two depending on a day.
Funny enough, the times when i go out and party are the only times i can be sure that i wont drink at all, since im always driving.

we have growlers from some of the local brewerys in the fridge at work. Now of course because this is a machine shop the operators are not allowed to drink while their machine is running but once cleanup starts we all usually start drinking.
So yes, I drink during the work week, and if i have to be in there on weekends i drink while at work.
I seem to get drunk a lot on Wednesdays and Thursdays, particularly.
Oh, I definitely drink during the week lol. 1-3 cocktails average, but probably once a week I'll get drunk on a weekday and then avoid alcohol the next day. Starting to cut back, though, due to having a ton of work I need to stay sharp for.
When I worked 9-5, pretty much every week at least once a week I'd have a number of strong drinks. I hated that job.
I quit drinking completely when I was working a 9 to 5 job, that lasted a bit over a year. Now I drink whenever I want since I have no obligations. I don't work (not allowed to yet, my green card is still in process).

You don't know him at all.
i don't drink as much except a few on friday/sat nights, but my office does have a beer keg and we're allowed to drink at work. they also throw happy hours on the rooftop of the building every couple weeks where they serve beer, mojitos and food and we're allowed to bring it back to our desks and carry on working if we want to.
